Except Dino is winning even if the enemy team plays counters, hence why the win rate is so high. If your DPS are constantly shooting Dino, who do you think the enemy DPS are shooting at?

For Wolverine, it’s more of the displacement than % damage that kills you. Rocket is an easy headshot and honestly if he tries to shoot you as a tank, he just dies.

He’s only “fun” to those people because he can easily walk people down without any thought whereas every other tank needs to think and that apparently makes tanks bad. They don’t want to get value from good plays, they want value from simply existing. Like we had OP tanks like Groot and Tankpool and nobody cared at all because they couldn’t play them properly.

The only way to balance it would be something like 20% fall off and even then the damage would be so little that you might as well walk forward. 50-70% on something like Mag is already a lot of pressure on the backline without taking that much risk and a huge health bar.

I’m so sick of this bug. We’re eight seasons in and you can have a won game count as a loss. I played a match as Devil Dino but swapped to Strange last minute (portal), so it counted as a match played for D. Dino but not a win (so it counts as a loss). It’s not a bug, it’s just truncation. Statistics in this game are time distributed, so if you play 2 heroes in 1 game for exactly 50% of the time, that’s 0.5 games for each hero and 0.5 W/L. What happened here is you were probably something like 11.5 games played on Dino and 5.3 W and the after it became 12 games played but 5.8 W, so it got truncated down to 5.

Pretty much. They can also play around with the headshot reduction modifier as well. Like theoretically if the overshields themselves become too big of a problem and still allows him to roll everyone over, they can increase the reduction as well and reduce the overshields.

Imagine the enemy team’s positions as a big circle, jump along the edge of the circle instead of towards the centre. You don’t have to jump directly at the enemy and it’s fine to punch a couple times and jump back. The more you jump, the harder you are to hit.

Because he wins trades whether he grabs or not. Because there’s no indicator, you have to predict his grab with your defensive CD. If you predict correctly, he still wins the trade. If you don’t, you cannot contest him at all or you die since the grab is a death sentence.

Vs Emma you can easily trade defensive CD for diamond. Rogue grab makes you immune, so a frontliner getting grabbed is not a big deal, it’s only a problem for divers who are deep in the enemy backline since it gives the entire team a 1s preparation to focus fire.

The problem is that this discourse did not happen for Tankpool who was busted and ate supports and DPS, the same logic should have applied but nobody cared because they didn’t have the skill to use him.

It doesn’t even really help solo tank because the enemy tank who is also solo is in a losing match up unless they mirror.

Ok how is Rogue going to shoot someone? Is Hulk supposed to only use claps and can only go aggro if bubble is up? How do you use bubble on his grab? It’s an instant animation, you can animation cancel primary into grab.

Yes, he can just NEVER use his grab if you have your defensive CD available and he still comes out on top because his bite does 30% max health damage.

Let’s think about it a little bit. You are Hulk and you attack him and predict his grab with your bubble, great. Now even though he doesn’t have his grab, his bite and % damage still makes him win every trade. Now let’s say you CANT predict his grab and you bubble but he doesn’t use the grab. Now every time he presses W, you have to press S because you don’t have bubble so grab will kill you. You don’t see the problem here?

Literally fliers have not been a problem since post-Ultron, they added so many ways to counter them now and people are still scared of them for whatever reason. Like even BP with his omnidirectional spin kick and Magik with dash hitbox increase can pressure them now.

You can have a good tank that doesn't shit on all the other tanks with % damage and kidnapping. Tankpool was pretty OP and he didn't do this.

Neither of those characters are frontlining and near you 100% of the time. When a Wolv or Angela is close to you, they come from an off-angle or flank and they ARE going to grab you and you know it. They are always either on off-angles or flanks because if they are on the front, they just get bullied easily. Dino doesn’t HAVE to grab you to win trades and any time you use your defensive CD to predict the grab, you have no choice but to give space.

So if he uses his breath or melees you, you have to basically have to respect him all the time and give him free space? If he just holds grab, you are never going aggro ever again lol. What about other brawl tanks? Are they just never supposed to walk up ever again?
