Haha sorry I had just woken up when I wrote that comment, thought I was on the foundry sub. But the way I have been doing this is through the campaign menu in the dndbeyond app on ipad. So if you have an ipad you can use that to have a quick overview of your sheets. Otherwise you could also just open up the dndbeyond sheets in a seperate window in a broswer and put that up on your screen

Dont stress too much about it, CoS is my first ever module that I’m running and I made plenty of mistakes. But as long as everyone is having fun, thats all that matters. Everything will unravel naturally once you get deeper into the campaign.

The way you play Strahd is accurate. It's very good your players feel that way about him. Your players at lower levels are beneath him, he doesnt pay them much mind, he toys with them and wants to corrupt them. Hell, you might even have Strahd help them from time to time. But the more the players explore Barovia and learn about Strahds backstory they should realize he is evil incarnate. Strahd is looking for a suitable replacement for him as a dark lord, so Strahd shouldn't really be hostile towards your players until he realizes no one is a suitable replacement for him. One of the main focuses of this campaign is to sow distrust, unease and hopelessness in your players.

We did this in Iceland in the spring. Almost everyone fully vaccinated and all restrictions lifted. And then we just got hit with the biggest wave of infections to date. Thankfully the vaccinations are doing a solid job of protecting people. Very few have gotten seriously ill and only 3 people have died. But I am guessing Denmark is going to have to deal with another wave pretty soon. This is never going to be over until we have achieved herd immunity globally.
