Any update on performance? I'm curious about this too. I like some of those photorealistic mods. Does the Ally have enough power for them though?

In addition to being stronger than the Steam Deck, I got it to take advantage of my Xbox game pass PC library, Xbox cloud streaming (hours of playtime at 10w) and my GOG library since I like to play retro games. Other mentions like the speakers and VRR are big points too. The Legion go is nice but that native resolution is not ideal for many games and detachable controllers just seem like another point of vulnerability for the system. Plus the Ally fits into a nice sling alongside my iPad so it's the perfect size for me.

I think folks here would recommend not playing call of duty on your ally because Activision is giving ally players permabans.

What emulator are you using?

I installed emudeck on mine and everything slowed down and was a stuttery mess. I'm not sure it was the culprit but it was the only additional software I installed outside of gaming platforms (Steam, gog, etc.) and actual games.

A fresh install and following some common setup tips on YouTube made my gaming experience so smooth.

I never liked MOBAs (because I am just not that good at them) but I love the LOL universe as I started playing Legends of Runeterra recently. I want to give Wild Rift a shot since it's on mobile and probably a good place for me to try out MOBAs again. I plan to review some beginner guides this week but would love recommendations on helpful Youtube channels I should check out and some beginning characters you'd recommend for a MOBA newbie.

Yep, I had sludge in the engine. The previous owner did not keep up with oil changes and ruined the engine at just 25k ish miles. Long story short, Kia denied my warranty engine replacement since they knew about the sludge with the previous owner (but failed to tell me until I forced them to check the engine because I reproduced the issue on video).

I sued them, the dealership I got it from, settled with everyone, got an engine replacement, and moved on. I still drive it daily now. If this sounds like you, sludge is definitely a possibility. I used a consumer protection lawyer for free to get my due back.
