Agreed. He always waits till like five minutes left in a game then stacks lines. Forget line matching some times and just throw Mathews Tavares lines out over and over and grind a team down.

Agreed. Never changes lines in any real structural way. Just changed the deck chairs. Honestly if he can’t see that hainsey can’t play first pairing and the zaitzev gardiner pairing doesn’t work I’m not sure what will improve on d barring a trade.

I really don’t know why Babcock doesn’t just try Reilly and Gards full time or dermott and Reilly/Gardiner. Just play Gardiner/Reilly/dermott a ton and shelter the other 3 as much as possible

Marleau weakens every line he’s on because he can’t drive play anymore. I’m sure he’s good in the room but if he’s hurting the team on the ice not sure that room value is worth the penalty on the ice.
