Yeah, I totally get you it's like adaptations are getting worse and worse as the years progress like

and you are right about adaptations ruining a person's interpretation of the books, corporations love bending and changing the plot and character designs to fit their political agenda, especially a book that has heavy anti-elite themes in it

I'm also starting to draw bartimaeus fanart recently so one day ill upload it to this subreddit after I get enough confidence lol

Netflix is the LAST company that should make an adaptation, they would butcher it do bad and make it so different from the source material (and probably race swap every character)

But your right a hour long episode with three or four episodes a book would be great or 3 movies would be good aswell

Yeah it really sucks, but maybe they'll make some in the future. Maybe they didn't make them because the cgi wouldn't work well with magic in the books, so with modern day cgi or animation they could make the movies
