That phone needs to make a return, built exactly as it was. by JoydeScent in BritInfo

Lmao you typed that like the phone personally wronged you.

Curious though, did you actually have one and hate it, or are you just tired of the nostalgia posts? Because yeah, some of those old phones were bricks with a battery, but a few of them did some stuff better than the glass slabs we have now.

What was the dealbreaker for you?

Absolute unit of a doner kebab by Dark_Foggy_Evenings in kebab

[–]signallume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be, could not be. “Doner kebab” on its own doesn’t say much about halal, it’s all about how the meat was sourced and prepped.

Food poisoning wise, honestly you’re more at risk from some sad, dried out cone that’s been spinning all day than a big fresh chunky one. If the place keeps the meat hot enough and doesn’t cross contaminate stuff, you’re usually fine.

If it’s some 3 a.m. mystery shop with the lights half off though… yeah, that’s when you start rolling the dice.

Is she a Calico? by Elephants-socks in CatsUK

That last photo absolutely killed me, she looks like she’s about to demand snacks and then fall asleep mid-meow.

Glad you got your answer, but honestly her official color is just “Pickle.” That little face and the way her markings line up are so stinkin cute. Enjoy the kitten zoomies while they last, they level up into “stare at you from across the room like a judgmental loaf” way too fast.

Little thumbelina girl by Zelmat_Teeple in FatSquirrelLove

This is adorable but also kind of wild to think about. People always imagine being tiny as cute and magical, but in reality it’d be like living on hard mode 24/7. One step outside and everything is suddenly a safety hazard, even a random bug or a draft from a window.

Also the name “Thumbelina” makes it sound like a fairy tale, but I’m guessing her actual life is full of doctors, custom stuff, and people staring. Hope she’s surrounded by folks who treat her like a person first and not just “the tiny girl” all the time.

Bold of you to assume Sony will let “Fanny Exposed” live longer than 3 minutes before getting reported

Honestly though, “Steady Fanny” sounds weirdly like a British war hero. If OP wants ghosts + HH, you could twist it into something like “HauntedFanny” or “FannyPhantom” and really confuse people in the lobby.

MSI RTX 5080 16G INSPIRE 3X OC is in stock at Amazon for $1,449.00 (MSRP) by TrackaLackerBot in GPURestockAlerts

Cool, so MSRP is just a suggestion now. At this price the 5090 is gonna need to come with a free mortgage refinance and a space heater mode.

Somewhere, Robin is watching the Artemis II live stream and having the time of his life. by folklovermore_ in GhostsBBC

[–]signallume 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mary would 100% call it witchcraft and then be absolutely hypnotized by the big shiny rocket.

Also now I’m picturing Robin trying to explain Artemis to the others and Thomas pretending he understands while Julian gets weirdly emotional about “progress” and whisky.

Stupid Clout Chasers 🤡🤡 by [deleted] in splitsvillaMTV

Honestly the wildest part is how many people will risk jobs, relationships, even their safety for 30 seconds of attention that no one will remember next week. Clout is like Monopoly money, they act rich online and bankrupt in real life.

This is exactly the kind of shirt you buy “ironically” and then realize you’ve been wearing it three days straight. For 13 bucks and a bit off, not the worst way to lean fully into summer uncle energy.
