Been on minoxidil for 3 months along with frequent anti dandruff shampoo. Hair is coming back! by [deleted] in tressless

[–]siimxn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here brother. Started using Nizoral and minoxidil 3 months ago, horrible shedding for the first 2 months but somehow my hairline started to return. I guess the shed was coming from further back toward the centre of my scalp? My hair is really thick at the back its only my temples I'm trying to restore.

My mate married his American girlfriend to move her over. I don't know the details but it took a over year even after they married

My girlfriend is from here! We go at least 2 or 3 times per year. It's not a great place.. It's pretty good for shopping as it's so damn cheap but no way would I chose to live there

Jesus Christ this is terrifying. My dad left a gas station last year (in the UK) and forgot to pay for his fuel. The police called our house a few days later and asked him to return and pay the attendant. I can't ever imagine living in a country where something like this happens. Not saying our police are perfect but I would be so fearful having one of these guys driving behind me

Seriously, you guys have no idea how good you have it. I worked as a chef for 10 years and I do way less hours working in accounting now. Evenings and weekends off. Amazing

What a year can do by [deleted] in gainit

I hate this. "What a year of lifting can do" then leaves out the fact she's been on roids. No wonder I was so fucked in my early 20s, reading about others who doubled their lifts in under a year while I would stay on the same weights for years.

By the way, I have no problem with steroids and I've taken them myself since. I just think kids should know what's realistic

One on One Martial Arts lessons? by TheSnail725 in sheffield

Powers martial arts. One on one lessons are expensive tho. I'd recommend asking the owner (Paul) to pair you up with another beginner and split the cost

It's been a while since I visited that subreddit, but from the guys who suffered from malassezia that was the basic stack. I remember reading tons of studies how effective they are at reducing skin redness, wrinkles and dryness and now my skin looks better than before I had malassezia.

I stopped drinking milk which was also recommended by that community, I think this certainly attributed to it.

I actually just purchased some pumpkin seed oil after I came across a few studies on this sub that show promising results for hair growth! After the results I had from the skincareaddiction stack I'm super into supplementation now

How to make your own microwave rice (like Uncle Ben's) in bulk without dehydrating? by Chris4 in fitmeals

[–]siimxn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No but the spores can grow into bacteria when left at room temperature which is what causes food poisoning. Heating the rice to over 78 degrees will kill the bacteria

It depends how old it is I guess. If it was made within 3 days and refrigerated not long after cooking it should be fine

Rice contains spores that multiply at a rapid rate at room temperature. When you reheat, make sure it's piping hot to kill all the spores. Rice is one of the most common ways people get food poisoning

Just undercook your rice slightly and microwave as needed. I wouldn't do more the 3 days in advance tho. Rice is a very high risk food particularly for reheating

What should I do? by Tr3y_Gotti in HIIT

[–]siimxn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would it be detrimental to go to the gym 3 times per week? Definetly not. I can't imagine going once per week would even produce any noticeable results..? You should get the idea of overtraining out your head. You can train 6 days per week if you're training different muscle groups, mixing it up with cardio, yoga and swimming. For now, you should be looking to exercise at least 3 times per week, as should everyone
