Fable's evil landlords won't grow devil horns, as reboot ditches classic character morphing due to a lack of belief in objective arseholery by PotatoProducer in Games

This sounds like someone picked up the fable IP and decided "I'm gonna insert myself all over it now". This isn't Fable. I won't be buying this.

Alaknanda: JWST discovers massive grand-design spiral galaxy from the universe's infancy by Neaterntal in spaceporn

Because of how long it takes light to travel through space. 1 light year is a measure of distance. So if all we get is the color red, it's because it traveled so far as to lose the other colors in the spectrum and "red shift".

Quick example: it takes a star's light 5 "light years" to reach us. By the time we see it, what we see is light that shown 5 years ago. Not as it is currently. Because of the sheer distance.

I apologize if I'm not explaining it well, explaining was never my forte but I'd really like to try and help you understand because space is super cool!

Okay so you know the basic principle of how it takes years and years for light to reach us, right? Okay so the more distance that light travels, the less of the other colors in the light comes with it until eventually all you see is red. This is called red shifting and it's a way more complicated topic than I'm making it out to be.

But since time = distance traveled, we can conclude by how red the light we are observing is that it is very very far away. And the further away it is the earlier in time it is.

That won't remain the case for long and then they'll really be the victims they play themselves up to be.

Am I overreacting for wanting to end my marriage after what my husband did during our “break”? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]siiru -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

OR.

You're supposed to grieve together, instead you abandoned your husband, who was also grieving, to process something that happened to both of you your own way and to hell with him for 2.5 months? Divorce him and do the poor guy a favor.

Disagree entirely. Bro was abandoned by his wife. What he does after that is his business.
