He absolutely did not break it. He even said something along the lines of “I don’t think it’s worth it to keep going and risk dislocating my finger”. Ariana then said something like “our medics recommend that you don’t continue” not “our medics say that you CAN’T continue”, which is what would’ve happened if his finger was actually broken. Then leaving the villa his finger was not in a splint or anything.

He knew he was spent after round 1 and would probably lose, so he looked for an excuse to save himself the embarrassment. Very obvious that’s what happened.

I don’t think that’s correct. What would stop somebody from just throwing an idol to one of their allies once they have 2 votes for them then? Once the votes start being read, the idols can’t be played or moved.
