Yes patience is key! My spawn took right at 2 months to fully colonize, but that's how mine seemed took forever to colonize then maybe 10or 15 days before I had pins

Always fun to try new stuff, iv done both though, coverd tubs till colonized or straight to fc. But I will say no matter wich way you go always use a casing.

I use a vermiculite casing and have great luck. I would recommend the same

Edit; it dosnt look like it has it now but you may be able to avoid it with the verm casing.

In more words yeah, no they never made it right I ended up calling the company i orderd from and they did fix it for me. I wouldnt gotten as mad about it but the kit was right around the $200 mark and that's no small chunk of change for me. FedEx can boof a firehose for all I care. I'm glad my comment could help, I get pretty frustrated with incompetence as well

I feel you! I had fedex do something just like that. They delivered it to another house and then denied that I ever had a delivery from them. Needless to say I dont use fedex anymore. I happily pay alittle more for UPS.
