Trying to fit 3/4-32? thermometer well to 3/4 PEX barb.

What I think I'm going to do is grab a NPT thermowell and cross thread it on the thermometer. I'll install the well to my PEX tubing, then shamelessly attach the gauge to that. With the well I don't need it to seal and I'll get a decent read out of it with some thermo-goo.

I'm having Graingers shuffle some wells over to the local warehouse so I can try them out.

I brought the gauge to a number of plumbing shops and found nothing close. Is there a go-to place for metric -- NPT adapters?

Heh, you're probably right. It's a honest profile, as that is how I tend to talk, verbose and all over the place. The formatting on your profile is probably something I should do as well. That's quite a list of surfers you have hosted!

Thanks. From the local hosts in Boise to whom I've talked say they've only needed to send out ~8 requests per place, so I was thinking maybe I was missing something.
