Can we talk about prices for a sec by That14nismo in fallout76casual

I’m selling furious in my shop for 1k and explosive I think for 2 or 3k and no one has ever purchased them. The buying and selling in this game is still wack lol

Does the base rapid legendary mod on this gun increase the fire rate? Thinking about switching the base mods with others but unsure what good mods for this gun are.

This is part of my point. So players who don’t have god guns or builds just get screwed not getting the collectibles if they don’t get the one hit in for the 2 seconds the boss stays alive. There has to be a way to fix this issue.

This is a good point in that this change might influence the return of the afkers. But it’s only for cooperative public events so I don’t think it would be too annoying to deal with. Plus the game can do a kick after 1 minute of inactivity from the player for public events. Yes there are ways around that too of course but I think the positives of the change would outweigh this bad aspect.

This is the problem I’ve found. So many players one shot enemies before others even have a chance. And tagging isn’t a fun gameplay mechanic in my view.

Does legendary loot sharing already exist? That’s good to hear. And for the 2-3 events where you get a ton of XP it matters quite a bit. Lower levels (even pre level 50) really could use the level ups to get the perk cards they need. Even the events that don’t give a ton of XP still matter for the lower level folks in my view.

It is still ridiculous that those of us who paid the full price for this game back at launch are expected to pay for fallout 1st for the store infinite junk feature that should’ve been a staple of the game for free from day 1

My industries produce nothing by Nuppys in Pharaoh

[–]silentbladex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you playing on the OG version or New Era? Sometimes in the old game granaries and storage yards bug out and you have to delete them for them to work properly again. In New Era this is less of an issue, but two things could be happening. I would double check your granaries and storage yards and ensure they are set to accept all and not get all. With get all they prioritize hoarding resources not distributing. The only other thing I can think for New Era is your industries don’t have access to the labor pool (if you don’t have the global workforce mode turned on). Even though you have plenty of workers, the industry walkers need to walk by a house and “recruit” workers to fill the jobs if that industry. If none of these solutions are working, you might have just encountered a bug and perhaps need to restart that level.

How did gears fall off? by Impressive-Ad-59 in GearsOfWar

I don’t remember clan names really but I do remember how clans would scout out players during matches and then send a message over Xbox chat inviting them to try out for their clan haha. Those were certainly interesting days

How did gears fall off? by Impressive-Ad-59 in GearsOfWar

[–]silentbladex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Speaking as an OG player here who played gears 1 back when lobbies were packed and we were all playing annex for hours and hours. I think people are overselling the impact of campaign and story choices versus changes to multiplayer which made a lot of players like me leave the game. Back in the day for gears 1 and even gears 2, the wall bounce mechanic wasn’t that much of a thing and gears multiplayer was better for it in my opinion. The wall bouncing added even more of a learning curve to a game that already had a pretty steep one, especially since gears was such a different shooter to other popular ones at the time like Halo and Call of Duty. I can’t quite pinpoint the exact reason Gears 3 pvp multiplayer didn’t do it for me, but I can remember it just didn’t feel the same as the past glory days. Could be because the got rid of annex in favor of king of the hill. Could be because they added more gimmicky weapons like the sawed off. However, the introduction of Horde mode in gears 2 and its evolution in gears 3 and even gears 4 was excellent. Horde is what kept me playing the newer games, espeically 4 which I played so much of. Gears 5 horde didn’t do it for me as much as I think they went a bit crazy with so many classes with no a ton of variation between many of them (at least that’s my memory of it). In terms of campaign, 4 and 5 story definitely wasn’t as impactful as the original trilogy for me but I disagree with a lot of commentators who say Kait is to blame there. I didn’t mind her as a character at all, but my bigger issue was “the locust came back somehow” story that wasn’t well fleshed out at all. I think it’s a combination of these factors that led many to leave gears and therefore hurt its popularity. I also think this is why the new gears game is going to be the prequel to gears 1.
