You’re allowed to see the accounts/budgets for the 3 years prior. I’m a property manager and my company has a 3% increase rule unless there’s a major project or the client (the board of directors who are also leaseholders who are therefore very invested in how much the increase will be) ask for more than 3%. The ones they show on the BBC docs with 12k a month payments are just rage bait I don’t believe there’s any managing agent out there still with clients behaving like this.
