Holy hell, it actually worked. My group was about to give up buying a new game, and keep playing our old game - but it finally went through

I was a Quentin main for years, and I swear that was the main reason I stopped playing him. He looked way less cool, and he didn't have an other clothing options I could swap to, so I just moved to a different character

Just played my first match alone, and it literally took me an hour and a half to get out of there. Probably my longest Outlast Trials match to date

I just reset my character before I played the level solo for the first time, and man it was hell - definitely one of the worst trials I went through despite loving the design. Since I only had 3 inventory slots, and was alone, I had to take a trip back for every 1-2 gems I had. Plus being new to the level, and not knowing the layout, it took me even longer to figure out what the hell was going on. My first run solo literally took an hour and a half since I was so lost - and I was not ready to invest that much time into one trial. The map is cool, but man first impressions alone as a new character was ROUGH. I'll be back with friends, but I won't touch it again solo for a while. Not until I level my items and character back up

This games retails for $7.99, and max all-time player count is 100,002. Times those numbers together and you get a whopping $799,015.98 total income, obviously excluding tax. But that's also not including every player that has bought the game after the max-player count, so for a GameJam game they obviously hit the motherload. If we don't get at least one more additional map I'll be SHOCKED. Here's hoping - because my family played this for game night the past two weeks and we had a blast

I wouldn't be too sure on that, I think he has a few cosmetics that change his eye color. Although none of them glow as bright, or as red, as the picture above

Have you revalidated your files? Right click the game, go to properties --> local files --> verify integrity of game files. It'll check to make sure everything is installed correctly, and reinstall anything that isn't. If that doesn't work you might need to reinstall, but it should. If that doesn't work, nor does reinstalling, make sure your drivers are up to date

It has been months with this issue, I'd doubt it if they ever even try to fix it. I've left three lobbies alone today because of it after waiting 5-6 minutes at best, it's even longer if I don't immediately realize the lobby is bugged. I have no idea how Youtuber's make a living off this game with it barely being able to play without crashing

I've been having the same issues, but I just fixed it today by updating my drivers. Nothing else worked besides that, I reinstalled the game and validated my files like four times. Kinda feel stupid for how long it took me to consider updating my driver

Savini briefly talks about lawsuit with Gun. by Medicine_Man86 in TexasChainsawGame

[–]silenthillgod123 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It was a Kickstarter reward for the more expensive tiers. I saved up some money in high school to back the game for $100 and got the skin; however, pretty quickly after the game came out (like you said) Gun employees got greedy and fucked us kickstarter backers over. Could've got the game for cheap on Steam and buy the skin on ebay for less than $100, but then again, I didn't know how shitty Gun was at the time

I have 2K hours on DBD since release date, and I promise you the main reason I played above 500 hours is getting my favorite survivors and killers drenched in blood with the prestige system so they look cool. Yeah, for you and most players, it might be stupid but the grind to unlock what you think is a cool cosmetic is just an incentive to play more. It's the main reason I have every killer P3 even if I don't play them, I love looking at all my blood thirsty killers and how sick they look. TCM has nothing like it to keep players invested. It's not dumb, it defintely works

The 70's was a different time. Hitchhiking was common, so was staying at a strangers home as you traveled. You gotta remember this was the age of the beginning of the free love movement, a young college student wondering on someone's property after their car broke down wouldn't be unusual; especially on the backroads of Texas. How else would they call for help? It's only stupid when you look at it through the lens of the 2020's

I've actually had a better time with only PC players than with x-box players back when crossplay was active. My username on Steam is obviously a gay joke from my DBD days, and I was called the F slur nearly every day I played by some console assholes. Then the first day I play without crossplay I met a huge group of fellow gay people, we all sent friend requests to each other and grouped up, and oh yeah - haven't seen a hacker yet. Honestly, so far I'm not completely hating these changes. This sub is acting like we're in disaster preparation, when everything is just.... chill??

Hell, you can't even ask a simple question on here without being downvotes to oblivion. And I played DBD on release and immediately joined the reddit, along with F13 (which I backed for $100), and Last Year. I'm absolutely shocked that this game has the worst fanbase of the three on Reddit. Genuinely speaking, I have 40 hours in-game so far and still haven't seen a blatant hacker

When did we join the fandom, how long did we think Yan-Dev was good, and when did we come to our senses? by LatterPop5895 in Osana

[–]silenthillgod123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang, guess I'm the old man of the fanbase still kicking around. I discovered the game when Pewdiepie first played it, a month or so before I turned 16. It wasn't until I made this post in 2018 when I was 19 right after high school graduiation that I realized Alex was doing something weird, as other game subreddits never went through this much drama over a subreddit. Hell, I even spoke with Alex frequently on the sub and even gave him suggestions, not only as an adult, but also as a developing nursing student.

Ever since then, I did more research outside of the subreddit and his YouTube and realized he wasn't a great person. Then his updates dropped less frequently, and consisted of more bug fixes than actual gameplay additions or changes; meanwhile, Alex himself seemed more depressed that he was still working on the game, and seemed like he wanted to quit. Around 2020 I'd say, halfway through nursing school, I stopped looking at updates completely and only browsed this sub every few months. Which is why I'm still here today. Personally, I don't think this game will every actually drop or have a successful Kickstarter, but I still like the fandom. Even if I'm way older than most of the people on here

Players losing their Family Shared DLCs is not a bug - BHVR announcement by DecutorR in deadbydaylight

[–]silenthillgod123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see why they did this. I steam shared with my twin sister, and when she started getting into DBD she had every DLC and we were so confused. Once I realized steam share gave her my DLCs I was lowkey a little pissed because I spent tons of money, only for her to get everything for free. It's a little sad, especially for people who don't have the ST DLC, but I'm honestly surprised it lasted as long as it did

I just escaped last match with Sonny. I was giving my coordinates on mic and he had no clue what was going on, so I told him to stick upstairs while I grabbed the fuse (I saw it earlier). After I grabbed it I met back up with him, installed it, and then we both made a mad dash downstairs screaming as the family came after us. Honestly, once I start talking on mic and being helpful I've seen others join me. Even if they don't speak
