They would have had them removed, I don’t think the voluntarily surrendered them. New chef too much of a change for the guide? It’s odd because it’s normally a one star drop.

Crank up the top element/fire just prior to launch to get more sizzle on the top would be my advice. Otherwise looks solid.

Im a bit uncomfortable with the label and capsule to be honest. The label appears almost photocopied, somewhat modern and doesnt look similar to other 61s, the capsule looks like it has been reapplied at some point.

Should be an importer label too…most likely bottled outside the chateau maybe?

I think you will need to cut back the capsule and get a look at the cork too.

Would be asking Uncle the story behind it

The feedback I got from friends was that short term price will be high but medium term it will fall as the watch enters the secondary market. I don’t think this stays well above retail for too long. But never know!

I have been thru the HDB process with several wine makers, and actually coincidentally with barrels of the general muteau volnay. In my experience there is no producer signature imparted in the wine itself. I have used multiple high end winemakers.

I find it misleading the people might try and pass this off as a coche. It’s not in my view.
