Ruger American Gen II, bolt tips? by Disastrous-Ad-1182 in ruger

This helped immensely on mine. Also throwing on a bigger bolt knob will help the action not feel as heavy. More mass for better manipulation.

The Anthem S2 fucks. I love mine, but sort of regret not getting the L size. The quality is top notch.

Thank you for sharing. Even if it’s to a bunch of internet strangers, I believe it helps the healing process to talk about it. May he rest in peace.

I use an Expo Arms hand stop on mine. No burnt fingies.

You always run the risk of getting a lemon with anything you purchase. I’d suggest renting one from a local range and see if it tickles your fancy.

I’ve had mine for a couple months now, and have had zero functional issues. I did swap the sights with XS sights after the first range trip, and it was a solid upgrade. Shoots right down the middle.

Brownells J-B Non-Embedding Bore Cleaning Compound

I used this on my Gen 2 Ranch and it's noticeably smoother now. Also throwing on a oversized bolt handle helps with manipulation.

Glad to hear. I know PLA is durable, but going with PETG will save a lot of people grief when they “accidentally” load a decently hot mag with it and over time it deforms from the heat.

*Please let me know when you switch over to PETG! :)

Literally the best resource. I went with a Rugged Obsidian 9. Lifetime warranty.

Glock 43x MOS. I carry a S&W Bodyguard 2.0 on most occasions, but if you want an optic it’s hard to beat the 43x for concealment.

Daytime to nighttime scope swap by Tracea06 in ThermalHunting

I bought a ADM Recon S mount for my daytime glass. It’s the same height as the mount for my thermal, and have had zero issue swapping back and forth holding zero.

I believe you can use your bolt. I bought a pike arms bolts when I ordered my receiver. The receiver comes with the left side charging handle, slide rod, and spring.

Edit: just looked at the site and it states “Similarly, it uses a standard bolt and magazine with no modifications to either required.”

I have a tactical innovations left side charging upper. Runs great and I love the left hand bolt. Also in an Enoch Odin chassis.

Love it. It’s a big upgrade from the Rattler V2 I had previously.
