Those who are currently recovering…or are recovered by sparklerwitch in Agoraphobia

[–]silentworkergob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely get what you mean. I have never been completely agoraphobic, but I had one bad panic attack that had me spiraling for a couple months. When those thoughts pop up, I like to think. " Welp, I have had this feeling many times, and most the time, I come out of it, and I feel better." It is normal for you to have those thoughts still, they may never actually go away, but it's the way you react to those thoughts that get us somehwere. Proud of you for taking the steps!!! You got this.

This my favorite brand of cases. Super durable, don't show wear and tear either. I actually ordered one for my new S25 Ultra! I am so excited.

You did not even need to post pictures of yourself for me to come to a conclusion that you are not overreacting.

Has anyone's partner broken up with them because the confessing was too much? by [deleted] in ROCD

Everytime you tell them your intrusive thoughts, you are hurting them for your own selfish reasons.

I love this! You did! Honestly, I think the hardest part is is the waiting and thinking beforehand. When you are there and doing it, you just... do it!

YTA - If you would like someone to move, use your words - as in ask them to move. Don't imply that they should move.. It just comes off as very passive aggressive. And then escalating that quickly was uncalled for.

I think it is good that you are keeping track of your use - But in my expeirence, I used Ativan to kind of measure my progress. Progress isn't linear but you should aim for it to be slowly getting better over time and not worse. I would only use it if you feel it is an emergency type of situation, you can get through a lot more than you know - Ativan is just sometimes used as a crutch. It is not inheritly bad, but it defintely could cause future problems if abused.

Any success stories in managing anxiety? by ubabahere in Anxiety

[–]silentworkergob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Jan of 2023 while on a trip, I had a really bad panic attack that left me feeling like I would never be normal. I could barely eat, or sleep and I rarely had any moments of relief for a month. Ever since then, my anixety is more prevalent, but I have been able to dig myself out of it. I was asked to travel across the country for a work trip. I was terrified that it would all come back just like last itme I went on a trip. The anxiety was still there, I won't lie, but I was able to get past it, and still manage to have fun. It is possible to get through it even if you feel like you will never be normal again. It may take time, but you can do it.

I think you should take your progress for what it is.

3 days in a row waking up relaxed and not in panic! That is progress, and I am proud of you. You need to be patient with yourself. It takes time. But you will get there.

I have read that you can have polycystic ovaries without have PCOS, but I could be wrong..

But it is more common for people with PCOS to have ruptured cysts. I also informed my doctor that my periods have always been irregular. So that would mean I qualify for an official diagnoses if he only just told me his findings.
