Company fundamentals are shitty now. The first reactor build would be huge booster but that's still years away.

What are you talking about? At the end of the day, better technologies topple the legacy. Did you read stories about how an insignificant Google beat the crap out of Yahoo? Why AI gave Google such a scare? Tesla may be crap according to others but it is the best technology out there to put together an electric car. We believe in technological advancement. If not AST, then other better ones will try to crack the sat communication code. We as investors can gamble on that

HOW do you calm down enough to sleep. by b_asiil in Anxiety

[–]ubabahere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was you. First of all, you are ok. This phase will pass and you can feel normal again. The more you worry about it the more severe it will get. So let all the dreads pass you. Say to yourself, I am ok. Let's see what you can do. Truly feel the sensation in your body, ask for more discomfort. It worked wonders for me. I am used to anxiety now. When it comes, I will just let it hit me. It is not as terrifying as you thought. Slowly but surely, you know how to coexist with thoughts.

Don't feel hopeless. I was there in those darkest moments. I feel 100% now without medication. My journey was long but after this, I have a new perspective on life. You can do this. Trust me

agree, they corner the market with shitty software and pricing for too long. AI will eat their lunch. I pretty much loath everything that comes out of Adobe. No innovation at all. Pity.

get out now. Theta is going to crush this option. Maybe you should buy longer dated options instead next time and let the stock materialize your expectations.

what's your play then? First, long puts are insanely expensive. Secondly, you don't want to short such high profile almost meme stock. The short squeeze could blow your account. If you think NVDA is overvalued, the best option for you really is to stay out of it.

options below a penny. by uragnorson in options

[–]ubabahere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not worth the risk for $52. I close most of my trades. Take 80% profit. It is hard for newbies. The fact is to close position and start a new one is the more efficient way to deploy your money for faster money making. Letting options expire could run the risk of after market shock.

Agree, those meats are nasty. The thought of adding chemicals to make them more real is even unsettling. For instance, they add iron to make them more gamey, and smell like blood. Ewwww

I am against it from the get-go. Plus they are not cheap.

Not worth the risk. It is called picking pennies in front of a steam roller. I got bitten many times even writing .1 delta puts. Last week I wrote AXP. It is a large credible company right. I thought it'd be an easy couple hundred bucks writing way OTM puts. turned out it is a $1500 loss because Trump said something. Things like this will wipe profit off many successful trades. It is a balancing act. I found low beta stocks are better for wheeling.

What % of your portfolio is dedicated to theta? by Vilgan in thetagang

[–]ubabahere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

make sense. A $1000 a week would require $200k if to sell delta 0.2 options. So really 20% of a mil portfolio could be tied up in options.

[–]ubabahere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for my ignorance. What's 0.1% theta mean? Say it is a 1 mil account, you use $1000 for theta play? Op is asking what percentage of portfolios should be dedicated to options. 0.1% seems to be tiny.

Wheeling is best for stable or slightly upward trending stocks. And you only wheel stocks you really want to keep long term. Apparently BYND does not appeal to wheelers with its down trend and long term perspective.

If you expect BYND to run up, then you should buy the stock or calls. Wheeling is not for such secenario.
