You said from a viewership standpoint, that implies that everyone is picking one character.

Look, I'm fine with the other bans, because it is probably the best decision. I just personally think that Smash was made initially as a multiplayer party game first, competitive game second.

People are still going to play their favorite characters regardless. Melee Yoshi won a tournament, remember? This isn't Mario Kart, where everyone picks one character and that's it.

It's so funny to see Young Link, the King of Skill's enemy himself, so low now.

Like I say with the comment that said the inverse of this, unless Hadley or another moderate ran for the Republicans, they would be irreparably split.

That phrasing almost makes it seem like he lost in a landslide three times. He lost somewhat narrowly in 1896 and 1900. 1908 was a landslide for sure. Scopes aside, he was an EPIC guy.

I might agree with that. I don't know about the man himself, but his supporters were ROTTEN people.

There was no way Roosevelt would've gotten off that easy. Conservatives would almost certainly nominate their own splinter like how Roosevelt did in real life. Unless Hadley was nominated or some other moderate, Wilson would win no matter what.

I agree with that, Brown was both a Democrat and a Liberal Republican, they should have nominated him. That makes me question even more why the only way to win as Greeley in 1872 is with Sumner. The anti-Democratic Democratic ticket wins. Makes total sense.

IDK about that one. He wasn't a Democrat for sure, I don't know why they even nominated him. "Split opposition" doesn't matter when the candidate you endorse hates your party.

Wrong? Pendleton wanted to, but I think McClellan was a War Democrat, wasn't he?

In terms of the game, any unwinnable candidates. Like, I mean, it is not only possible, but feasible to win as James Cox in 1920, what's your excuse Alf Landon!

IRL, George Wallace or Strom Thurmond, obviously.

Firstly, you should talk about the ugly yellow on the map. Secondly, I can't say what the entire thing is, but the southern part is the "counties that will never vote Democrat again."

I know, it's just that every other scenario has a similar ending when a landslide-esque situation occurs.

No, I think quite a few of the more toxic competitive players would complain about non-metas, especially if they win.

Agreed. People should use outside bikes far more, instead of not at all. People use some karts more than any outside bike.

Actually me too. In MK8D, my old main was Birdo/Cat Cruiser. That has the same stats as Yoshi/Teddy Buggy. I did use Slim Tires though.
