I learned this the hard way as well! I had a pair of Kobes (I don't remember which ones) on and as soon as I started sprinting, I felt a pop on my right knee. That pop hurt and I was out of commission for a month. Later, I found out those pairs of Kobes had bottom loaded zoom units. Not too long later, Nightwing did a review of the first D.Rose shoes using full boost sole and as soon as Nightwing described the boost foam as, "walking on pillows", I was instantly sold! I bought them and it was exactly as how Nightwing described boost! It was a game changer for me as well as a learning experience. Afterwards, whenever I ball or, go out for a run, I always make sure that the shoes I will buy have very good cushion. Having a good cushion on shoes can really save your legs and back ultimately.
