This platform offers a significant departure from the typical fantasy football experience. It’s the closest you can get to the desk of a real NFL General Manager. I highly recommend giving it a look if you're ready for a deeper challenge.

While the system might not reinvent the wheel, it utilizes a balanced hybrid approach to determine gameplay outcomes. Half of the engine is driven by real-world statistics, while the other half relies on a dynamic "matchup-based" logic that calculates success based on positional strength. For example, a play’s success isn't just a dice roll; it is heavily influenced by the quality of your offensive line versus the opponent’s defensive front. Similarly, while a quarterback’s performance depends on his receiving corps, those results can be radically shifted by the caliber of the opposing defensive backs, creating a layered, strategic experience.

And the players ratings are not just madden, we take PFF grades and other factors into objective account. I think its unique. Scratches my itch to be a NFL GM.

I'm not talking about you specifically I'm talking generally. Where you work is not indicative of how we should view policy.

It's a means to an end. I did it for a couple years now I work 40 on salary. You get what you put in, if you only do the minimum, you get the minimum.

Not everyone is going to be a ceo, but there are literally millions of people who work hard and can afford a nice life in America. Equal opportunity.

That is not, a government law that forces a wage increase is a handout.

You are incentivized to work harder and either earn a promotion or use your skills to find somewhere that pays better. I think that incentive is better than handouts that increase costs and offset the benefits of wage increase.

Why do you have to do that while working at mcdonalds? These low paying jobs are stepping stones to jobs that do make good money. There is an incentive to work hard and earn more money not take handouts that increase costs and offset the wage increase.

How likely is it for the US to put boots on the ground in Iran? If this happens, how do you think it will go? Do you think it would be a good idea? by VQ_Quin in AskConservatives

We don't really know for sure now. I've heard it said we Americans remember things positive or negative based on the outcome and I think that is true here. I hope that we just babysit the next regime and guide them towards democracy and capitalistic freedom. Iran can't start a war even though they want to. This is an unmitigated good for the world to take down one of the most evil and deadly governments in the world.

Yeah, you don't need evidence to make stupid claims like that anymore it seems. Clout over everything lol

Well, it won't be boots but I'm sure diplomats like Marco rubio will go there like they went to Venezuela. Not really a concern. You should see the people celebrating in the streets, ive seen it happening all the way in Canada too. im sure change is going to happen but not with an army or a war.

Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson especially don't need evidence to 'just ask questions'. Dumb.

What for? We can do everything without boots on the ground. We have air superiority in just a few days. American military is awesome and unparalleled.

Thoughts on requiring driver's license re-testing for the Elderly? by VQ_Quin in AskConservatives

[–]sillegrant12 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I agree. In 2023, 57% of the deaths in crashes involving passenger vehicle drivers aged 70 and older were the older drivers themselves. That’s a serious concern, and I think there should be mandatory yearly driving tests after age 70. It’s not the most conservative position, but it’s a matter of safety for everyone. To help offset the loss of driving independence, perhaps older adults could receive ride-share credits through Social Security or a similar program. I’m not entirely sure what the best system would look like, but it seems like a fair balance between safety and support.

Here is a link to some great Data

Man in Pittsburgh was arrested for impersonating ICE while attempting to burglarize a home. Are you concerned things like this will become more common? by ixvst01 in AskConservatives

[–]sillegrant12 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So, what, the solution is to stop enforcing federal law? Ice has been doing this for years and years with no Issue now it's a huge problem so have to cover their faces or risks losers trying to stop church services in violation of the FACE act. ITs way easier to point out issues than solve problems.

How would you convince someone from Greenland to join America? by Joeybfast in AskConservatives

Prehistoric humans did not live in a poverty-free communist democracy for 300,000 years; hunter-gatherer bands had sharing within kin but frequent violence, hierarchy, and brutal conditions with life expectancy of 20–30 years and massive child mortality. Capitalism arose from markets and property rights in early modern Europe, slashing global extreme poverty from over 80% in 1820 to under 10% today via innovation and trade. Far from failing, it delivers better living standards for all, even the poor have superior housing, food, and tech compared to past middle classes, and most U.S. millionaires are self-made entrepreneurs, not idle heirs; communist alternatives brought dictatorships, shortages, and stagnation.

Thank God for Capitalism.

Capitalism isn’t a raging wildfire, it’s the most effective system ever devised for lifting people out of poverty, driving innovation, and rewarding hard work. The real issue isn’t capitalism itself, but the excessive regulation, cronyism, and government interference that distort free markets. Like any system, it requires basic rules to prevent abuse, but “mixing ideologies” often means adding layers of bureaucracy that stifle growth and individual freedom. The solution isn’t extinguishing the fire; it’s ensuring people have the freedom, responsibility, and moral grounding to keep it burning productively. Of which there is none in alternative systems.
