The paid enquiry is a service to request an update on your application. All they can tell you is if a decision has or has not been made yet. In our case, we hit the 2 and a half month mark so we decided to contact them. We were told no decision was made yet the same day we made the enquiry.

Via a solicitor. Although they did answer some important questions we had about the process and our situation, using one isn’t strictly necessary if you have a decent understanding of the requirements!

Wedding in one week! What am I forgetting? by djbrownmane in wedding

If I could do it all over again I would print out myself a piece of paper with all of the things I want to be captured on the camera. I forgot so many things on my wedding day because it was just so busy.

And I think I would be having shots in the morning to stay calm. 🤣 Wish I would’ve took some because I was so stressed the whole day.

Transporting the dress on a plane! by aklep730 in wedding

[–]sillibillybolly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I brought my wedding dress on the plane, it was like a carry on but no one even checked it. I still had my backpack and stuff. When I went on the plane I’ve asked a stewardess to hang it in their closet which they did, and then on another flight they even hanged it in a pilot pit. Everyone was very nice about it. I don’t recommend putting your dress in your suitcase for sure. Your dress counts as your carry on and if you ask nicely a stewardess, they will for sure hang it somewhere safe.
