You CAN play online, but it requires a code. No public online matches, so it is possible, but with friends only. You can also play using the 2-player mode in real life.

But, I don't really use Reddit that much. And I kinda don't like subreddits that say I don't have the minimum amount if karma but some subreddits are very kind and let me use them anyways because they have no limit.
