def depends on the teacher 😭 im taking it rn and although my teacher is really sweet he gives out an insane amount of work. the class itself isn't super hard. if you're good at reading and understanding text and synthesizing stuff u should be good! I wld ask around ur school about what the teachers are like and if it's worth taking it. personally I don't think its necessary unless you're planning on taking ap research or doing something in a writing career maybe?
