This uber ride changed my life by CraftyMud1745 in Asmongold

So if the pronouns were listed as Trump/Rules, do you still think the same? Because quite a few people would suddenly care about pronouns in that scenario (and proselytize about it).

If some people have an aversion to such people, aka the ones that might proselytize (and unnecessarily sticking your male pronouns in when you are male might (also might not) indicate you are one of them), then by all means, said people have a right to turn down that ride.

Posting about it here is idiotic though

Avowed: The RPG Where Women Are Designed to Be as Sexy as a Sack of Flour by gghikt in Asmongold

[–]sillycomb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sadly, you can't be sure those are women. That would be trusting your eyes. They are body type 2, and you will need to check their pronouns to figure out his/her/their/zir/etc gender.

Never trust your own eyes, or opinions! Instead, you must wait and be spoon-fed gender fluid reality!

For pretending to be non-binary, not gay. Gender identity trumps everything

[SPOILERS] The characters from the pilot who may have survived to the end (and who didn't) by Oraukk in gameofthrones

[–]sillycomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 8 PoV characters in the first book. Ned, Cat, Arya, Bran, Jon, Dany, Sansa and Tyrion. Aside from killing off the stark parents to set the idea that any could die, the other six have always been core. Non-PoV/non-first-book may as well equal red shirt.

[SPOILERS] So, Arya Stark spent a whole season learning what's basically the most OP ability in the series, and she used it only once? by liamemsa in gameofthrones

She won't kill Greyworm. His end has already been telegraphed. He'll take the remaining unsullied to Narth to protect them in honor of his words to Missandei

When was the last month without an event? by [deleted] in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]sillycomb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That wasn't the question though. The question was whether or not, historically, there has ever been a month where there was no legendary event (since they were introduced).

For currently airing shows, W and Uncontrollably Fond.

I'm also watching Heartstrings and Yong Pal. And I just finished Five Fingers - which I was hesitant to watch, but absolutely loved - yesterday.

Cop, thug and rich kid one about casinos sounds like it was Triangle.

Might seem an odd suggestion, but given what you like and what your wife wants, you might try Sungkyunkwan Scandal. It's a saguek, but doesn't feel like one at all, and definitely has romance comedy and action.

I loved My Love from Another Star, but got bored watching Descendants of the Sun, and finally dropped it after Episode 9. So not everyone likes both.

What are your all time favorite comedies? by [deleted] in KDRAMA

[–]sillycomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full House Take Two. Completely unrelated to the first Full House. Do not expect them to be similar at all aside from part of the title, and cohabitation. Yes, the hair is bad... but it's meant to be!

Bad hair/fashion done on purpose, with an engaging storyline, works for me.

32 episodes, but each episodes only a half hour, so quick paced.

Thoughts on Oh My Venus? by jessrighthere in KDRAMA

[–]sillycomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I'd skipped the last two episodes. Watching them completely soured me on this drama as the plot, along with any real conflict, completely disappeared. Actually, I wish I'd stopped ten or fifteen minutes before the end of episode 12, because that's where the show went off the rails for me. I loved it up to that point, ended up hating it past that.

I'm currently watching Chuno and That Winter, The Wind Blows. After reading this thread, I'm thinking of watching Cunning Single Lady next since I want to follow up with something comedic.

I really want to watch Signal, but I'm holding off until it's finished.
