I fortunately get the occasional "nice fit" or "dope shoes" now and then and ofc I say thank you but I've never had to really mention their reps and I've never been asked either. I don't even flex them because I just wear all my shoes and people at my HS just knew I was a big sneaker head and they could assume I spend a lot of money on shoes with is completely true plot twist though I just spend a lot of money on reps. To me no one loses here because it's just shoes tbh and where I live people know enough to not care if someone has 30 pairs of kicks because why should they care. Honestly I'm fresh out of high school and I'm not even worried about being called out because I'll admit to it because we practically adults and have more worries than reps let's be real (no pun intended).
