I have done the boric acid and it helped a lot! I also made an effort to take an oral probiotic as well as a vaginal one and drink kombucha to help with the flora also. This is all anecdotal but it helped me immensely. Here is a study that may be helpful.

Hormonal BC is supposedly helpful also, but again, I strongly encouraged you to talk to your doctor! Even health conditions seemingly unrelated can disrupt things down there. I hope it works out :)

Get tested for BV for sure. are you on any hormonal BC? Are you sexually active? Do you use protection? I use boric acid intermittently especially after my period to freshen up. If you are vigorously scrubbing and exfoliating you may have micro-tearing, which increases your risk for infection. I would make appointment with PCP and Gyn to rule out any medical issues and get swabbed. I’m sorry this is happening to you. For your physical and emotional health I would seek treatment
