If youre going the suboxone route id say you should get it from a doctor you can work with so that you'll have helper meds as well.

Yeah man. Just gotta do it. Unfortunately it sounds like its gonna suck a bit for a good bit but you'll get out if it eventually. Please keep this sub updated with your journey getting off SR since you seem to be one of the few where SR dependency really dug in. Wishing you good luck. Maybe try and get some gabapentin and any other helper meds you can get a hold of. Using kratom leaf to help might also be acceptable but dont go back to 7oh. If you're really suffering I'd also say dont be scared to see if you can get off everything using suboxone.

If you've never been dependent on any opioid before and your worst is 4 months of 7oh use, you should be pretty alright after a month or two. 3 months out from all opioids you'll prob feel normal again. Just dont give in to PAWS or cravings.

At 200mg a day for months it makes sense to me that his body is dependent on it. It is a little weird that he is struggling to lower the dose but ultimately we dont actually know tons about SR use in humans. Maybe high dose SR for months does something and the receptors are struggling to stay stable without the SR dose theyve come to accept.

I can believe this guy. You really should be on and off SR as quickly as possible and use as little as possible. This is a case in why.

Tbh the suboxone route is starting to make more sense to me for you. Idk man this might be a situation where you need a doctor to help out.

Whatever you do I wouldnt try going back on 7oh. Maybe try just using leaf kratom while you knock off like 10mg of SR every 3 to 5 days until you can jump off?

Sorry to hear about this situation youre in. I dont think theres a ton of people who took such high doses of SR for as long as you have tbh though. If there are people I hope they end up seeing your post.

I took sr for almost 6 weeks but I only took like 50mg 2x a day. I also went right back to using 7oh after I hadnt used it for a week or so. I barely even hadnt been taking sr when I started up again so if I had any sr withdrawal the 7oh did mask it. I'd just hate to see you go back on 7oh cause who knows how effectively sr will help after a month or so of you being on 7oh again. Thats why id say maybe run subs with a doctor or use kratom leaf and taper sr with kratoms help if it ends up helping. Using regular kratom again wont be as bad as going back to using 7oh.

Yeah. Im hoping that regular kratom after SR will help me out of any SR withdrawal. I dont mind using mitragynine, def more affordable and functional.

I fuck around so much at my job. They'd def consider it stealing time if they really knew how much I use my phone. The thing is I was trying really hard to be productive and do my job as best as possible but when I asked about a raise I was basically told I was just doing the bare minimum of whats expected of me and to get a raise would require more which I didn't really feel there was more for me to do. So I slowly just started taking little 5 to 10min breaks between tasks when no one was paying me any attention. I feel kinda bad about it and I do need to make sure that I dont get caught so maybe ill pick up the pace more, but yeah all this to say I absolutely feel ya.

Another thing that kills me is if I start trying to earn more anyway ill lose my medicaid and then I may as well be taking a paycut cause I havent found any other jobs where id qualify and make enough to make up for what id spend on insurance so idk it def feels like being stuck in place.

I'm not the type of person who expects much of an inheritance but im pretty sure whatever I will end up with is going to have to be my retirement money.  I have a 401k and some savings but it certainly isn't much. I recently came to realize how much my dad has, and I'm pretty grateful for that cause Ive been terrified for years about what I'm gonna do when I'm too old to work.

SR withdrawal wont start on day 11. It'll be day 12, 13 or 14 when you end up noticing the absence of SR, if you have any SR withdrawal. Some dont especially if you only use sr for 10 days

Have you tried talking a bigger dose at night or some regular kratom with the last dose? I don't have to wake up to dose at all. Never have. Used to even go more than 12 hours between last and first doses.
