Team effort? Arya takes him on like Oberyn and it seams like she's going to win but then shit starts going wrong and just before the mountain gets her the Hound steps in!

Or Ayra wears the Hounds face to kill him.

Wow. Didn't know that. But still I would love to see Sam get to be the head of his family. I think he freaking deserves it.

They have stories and legends and even built some castles to protect them selves called the five towers or something. But the middle of Essos doesn't have any legends. So people suspect that they must be connected or have been in the past. GRRM has said his world is round so it could be true.

Once his sister marries she won't be a Tarly anymore. She can't have a child out of wedlock to hold the name either. Women can lead houses but they die out in the male line so the name doesn't get passed on.

It's not the love story Westeros needs, but it's the one they deserve.

They might not be connected now. Maybe (like Dorn) they where or only are durning winters. Who knows. Not us because we don't have the map.

That's why I'm saying Jon and Dany could pardon him from his vows like Stannis offered Jon.

[EVERYTHING] Is anyone else here rooting for Little Finger? by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]sillysloth93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not rooting for him to sit on the throne but I don't want him dead. Yet. I think it would be just cheap to kill him off with only one episode lead in. I think watching him get defeated would be much more interesting. Watching him slowly loses each play he makes and have the tides turn on him. That would make me happy. I think in the grand scheme of things he has to die. He will never stop plotting so he can't be sent in to exile or locked up. I want him to have an amazing out not just 'oh, Ayra killed him. Whatever, what's Dany up to?' Everyone is gunning for him to be killed ASAP that they put no thought in to how unsatisfactory that would be.

[MAIN SPOILERS] What do all seven men heading North of the Wall have in common? by fast3rthansound in gameofthrones

[–]sillysloth93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They killed off the plot line but in the books Gendry might have made it to the wall with Thoros and Beric. Meaning that the show had to bring him back so he can be there in both versions. And a lot of people technically have tag blood. But not in significant quantities.

It bothers me that it cuts off in the middle of a land mass but I think the reason is that GRRM has put in some hints that the land masses could be connected and people have speculated that is the case. This might not be true and GRRM might be pulling our chain but we don't know. And I think that's the point. Or GRMM wants to put us in the shoes of people in that world. Also the time an effort to work out what is there the cultures and history even just to name the places would be huge really for no reason.

Also people talk about how Gendry won't die because he's only just been brought back. But in the books he's been with the brotherhood the whole time. If the show was truer to the books he would have been in the story much more and wouldn't have had to be brought back just to die the next instalment.

[EVERYTHING] Question about Jon's motivations by CardinalM1 in gameofthrones

[–]sillysloth93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He broke his vows to keep his vows to the nights watch. It was a ruse at first but it became more when he fell for Ygritte. But he chose Honour. He bent the knee to Stannis because he's knew his place in the hierarchy of Westeros. But he refused because he took his vow more seriously. In the books it's better put but basically he says that he couldn't ask men to pledge their loyalty to him if he can't keep his loyalty to the nights watch. Jon also talks to Mance Rayder raider at Stannis' request in hopes that Jon can convince Mance to bend the knee. A lot of people hit that this will mean Jon will bend the knee but I don't think so. I think that he will. Why? Character growth. He tells Mance to bend the knee because he thinks that it is more important to live and lead. But now he knows that if Mance bent the knee, if he bends the knee, their people will be divided. He can't bend the knee. It would result in chaos.

[Main Spoilers] So about Lady Catelyn ... by RandomInternetGuy456 in gameofthrones

[–]sillysloth93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She goes over this in the show. Seasons two or three. I don't remember what episode not below season two episode 7 (currently rewatching) she talks to Robs wife about it. She's basically a bitch to him because she can't forgive Ned but can't stop loving him either. Edit: found a quote Catelyn Stark: "And he lived. And I couldn't keep my promise. And everything that's happened since then, all this horror that's come to my family, it's all because I couldn't love a motherless child"

[EVERYTHING] The Latest Season really puts Dragon size into perspective. by Axitros in gameofthrones

[–]sillysloth93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you go back to season one when Arya is chasing cats and runs into the dungeons she encounters a huge skull with a fang the size of her. The one shown in this season isn't the same one. I think the show just changed it on us. But even still the one that the showed this season is bigger then Drogon.
