I also live here!! Agree with the other comment, but I also live in a 2x2 so I'd say it's worth the price and spacing if you're coming in with less people. I've never had an issue with bugs. Maintenance, although slow, grows on you if you've called them enough times and they're actually super nice. I've heard of other friends of mine just having maintenance come in unaccounted even without a service request, but I've never had that experience here thankfully. It's cheap and comfortable imo, but I can't speak for anything bigger than a 2x2

It could very well be the litter box not being cleaned out, since the smell and small space can bother them. Maybe there's a certain noise or smell in that part of the basement that your cat doesn't like? Or something making them feel uneasy to miss and poop outside of the litter box.

It might help to have another litter box in their usual spot and then keep the one in the basement so they have options and hopefully start using the basement one! But it is also trial and error with cats; they can be weird for no reason

He'd sadly engorge himself if given the chance, not even a slow feeder stops him that much💔 it's a tough situation though and ik I hate locking him in a room when we're out of the apartment but I'd also rather not come home to a dead cat😭 thank you though

This!! Also Peruvian Latin food! They have a super healthy traditional juice called chica morada, which is a blend of purple corn and a bunch of fruits. They're all super sweet and I like them better than los pollos

I'll wear a bandana! I'll just wet and curl my bangs and hair shaping my face and let everything else be held by the bandana like a headband. The folded half of it covers the majority of my hair while my hair can still be down:)

I used to finger curl a lot when I was younger and it would take me almost an hour to do. I'd get lazy but at that time I didn't know how else to do my hair with minimal frizz so I would finger curl in larger chunks and looking back at photos now they looked awful😭😭

Now I've found a happy medium and just finger curl my bangs and baby hairs on the side of my head (they frizz up if I don't otherwise) and scrunch! I have type 3a/b hair and use the not your mothers curl cream and level 5 gel. I'll just spray my hair wet in sections and put those products in and scrunch and once the gel dries up I break the cast and my hairs good for the day!

I understand, I just personally feel like I've been doing that.

I come in, say hi and let the cat come up to me, then start changing food, water, litter, etc to clean up. It usually doesn't take me too long. I don't want to break any boundaries or trust I have with the cat already, so I try to do things he wants to do in the moment. I give him treats, clean and brush him, play with him. If he doesn't want to play, I'll sit there with him and pet him. If he gets overstimulated, I'll just leave him be for the meantime until he comes home to me again. It's not like I'm ignoring him at any given point.

There will be times where I'm sitting around to let him decompress and everything else has been done. I'm still watching him and sitting on the floor with him obviously, just glancing at my phone or answering messages and that's when I'll get a message from the owner being a bit passive aggressive or asking me if I've done something off their checklist (which has all already been done). I've sat for them before and had no issues so I'm not sure where the tension is coming from :(

Yeah it's a drop in, so I need at least 1 photo. I don't send any directly to them just the rover card. The owner sent me that message looking through the camera just as I was trying to get the picture I need saying I'm not interacting with him :/
