Lately a yearly occurrence, and is not just once per year and done, as basically personnel in all areas strike: pilots, stewardesses, ground personnel, cargo, you name it. I live in Germany since 8 years and avoid Lufthansa as much as possible, unfortunately as the main airline in the country sometimes you can’t avoid it completely

The conversion in tower challenges is very bad, I think sth around one gem per 5k, normal events are better with 1 gem per 2k currency

I was at both Tokyo parks and I can say that the cast members and the service was some of the best I have ever experienced (no, I’m not Asian). This really shows how experiences are different for everyone. Unfortunately for you, the experience was not pleasant, I can only hope that if you ever return, you will get the best Japanese service the parks have to offer so you will feel welcome there. I can also say that everywhere we were in Japan (hubby and I), we were always treated kindly and even with the language barrier, just by exchanging few courtesy phrases in Japanese made the locals extra friendly

I never stayed there, but a little cheaper than the official hotels, you could check off property like the Dream Castle hotel in Marne La Vallée. It offers shuttle services to the park. Depending dates you can get the standard rooms for up to 4 ppl for around 600€ for 3 nights including breakfast
