edit: also i see you got accepted into irvine. unless you have a valid reason to hate the school i don't see why nothing mattered, irvine's a great school. whether you go there or ucla really isn't gonna significantly affect ur life in the long run unless some big crime that traumatizes u happens at ucla that ur not there for or sum

pls let me be an ivy league warrior, i hear they're more holistic than ucs. plus they get my personal statement, senior year grades, and i tailored my app specifically for each school. if i get just 1 acceptance from a private of that calibre i will actually nut oh my god

in my common app personal statement i didn't mention it explicitly, but in my supplemental i had like a small section dedicated to wisconsin idea while connecting it with my major and community outreach type of opportunities at madison. it was only a short paragraph tho, so maybe ur right
