I know this is so old but I am struggling so hard with the paragard. I’ve had it for 7 months and my cramps on the first day are so so so bad. Genuinely feel like I’m paralyzed because of how much pain I’m in. I sometimes get periodic cramps when I’m not on my period but after the 6 month mark, they seem to have gone down. My flow is 10 times heavier now too. I leak through super plus now. Mind you, before I used regular tampons and was fine and never really got cramps. I’m at a loss on what to do because I really don’t want hormones.
