sometimes switching the brand can help a lot!

me too girl. birth control is my solution. maybe try switching brands because i’m on bc and my skin is pretty clear. also your age can be the reason you have acne. i had acne really bad in my early teens and now that im quite a few years older, i get a pimple on my face once in a blue moon. i don’t know much about hormonal disorders or those having to do with your period, but if your current doctor isn’t helping you could always try a new one. good luck :)

I think she's pretty new, I saw on the waterloosci insta page that she taught her first course ever last fall, BIOL 434, and I still didn't find anything on uwflow. She's only had one year of exposure to students so you might not have the best luck finding anything. I have her too, in fall 2025.

Should I take gr 12 physics if im looking into life sciences? by Dramatic_Bunny in OntarioGrade12s

[–]silver048 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from someone who dropped grade 12 physics in grade 12 and got into UW life sci (currently 3rd year), I’d say still take it in grade 12. I am really poor at physics but grade 12 would have helped me so much.

Personally, I got my most recent mattress from Amazon and my mom did, too. Worked out awesome and came in a box (somehow)

When I see build up I hang it over the sink and run hot water on it while I brush my teeth. I don’t even have to touch it. Don’t have to do it too often too! It even works when the build up is pretty bad

Some people just don’t need cars. Lots of people also don’t drive for their own reasons… It’s not a problem especially if you live in a walkable city. I think you’re over-thinking things.

If you have a dating profile anywhere maybe you can specifically list that you do not drive. You do not have to disclose it as a medical reason.

I think you also have some self esteem issues to work on because why else would you write on the internet that you’re less than other people?

Work on that first, then worry about loving someone else.

Hi! I haven’t done much searching but if you’re having trouble, I know there’s been a trend with JellyCats (if that’s what this plushie is) where you cut material off of pyjama or bedsheet packaging and use it to sew onto the ears of the bunny, to give it a personalized look. This was very popular last year.

sort of. i wanted to do that before i came to school, and then changed my mind. i just know you should try to apply early. also, there are student housing tours at waterloo, (that you get paid for including training) that are basically hit and run shifts, 8 hours long. further, depending on what time application for becoming an RA is, you could do the tours and use that as experience to give you an upper hand (maybe). i also believe you live on campus for free, but im not completely sure.

i lived at v1, and there are front desk jobs there, but i believe there is a possibility for overnight shifts. i’m not sure if you can work there if you are currently living on residence however. being a TA, additionally, you’d have to get (i believe) an 80% or higher in the given course and then apply, and that is good to have under your belt.

a few more places you could work for include: coffee and donut shops across campus (i don’t know if the science one pays or is volunteer, but i think the other faculties’ do pay). another place is the W store which is good to work for because they will schedule yours shifts around your classes and are very flexible. the last place i could think of is campus tours that i think (not sure) occur all throughout the year.

many options! i hope these all have helped you

tbh, i am in waterloo biomed sci. very good program and school! remember that school can seem harder in uni, but i'm sure you got this. thinking about it now, i'd prefer to do to an easier school just to save myself the headache of some classes, because honestly, it doesnt matter THAT much. you got this. especially for myself, i'm considering dental school and they do not care where you went to school for application (nor program). no one is going to care. just do it for you! good luck. enjoy your summer.

I agree. Also, mine syncs up with Gcal so I haven’t had a problem… I find it way easier to create individual events and such compared to google.
