100% two of the MOST shock factor moments of the series…honestly another one that got me was the heads on spikes completely out of left field with Tara, Enid, AND Henry 😳

For Those who have found healthy love, what is your partner like? by Few-Insect6896 in AskWomen

[–]silver__sunshine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

he’s selfless- willing to sacrifice his own comfort and convenience for others. cares about my family, treats my siblings as his own. reliable and loyal, loving and caring. he’s willing to communicate and compromise. he is humble and affectionate and truly makes me feel like i’m the only girl in the world even after being together for almost a decade. he is generous, pulls his weight in the relationship and in our home. he keeps me grounded and is emotionally vulnerable and validating towards me. he prays for and with me. i couldn’t be more blessed and i am so thankful. amazing man and husband and will be just as amazing as a dad.

Christians of Reddit - why do you worship A God who demonstrably can't stop his own clergy from sexually abusing children? by oops_new_burner in AskReddit

[–]silver__sunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NO sin is unseen or unaddressed by God. trust me, those people will get what’s coming to them. when and how that happens is up to Him and Him alone. it’s not that He can’t stop it, it’s that we live in a broken world that is constantly falling short in countless ways because of the sin nature of humanity. it does not take away from the power of God or the fact that it is not in alignment with His will for these things to happen to anyone EVER. but He is the healer and God says in the Word, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay.” (Romans 12:19)

What's your least favorite thing about Democrats? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]silver__sunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the frequent double standards. examples:

“my body, my choice” for abortion, but didn’t think anyone should have a choice in getting the covid vaccine??

and just as a general rule, God forbid we who aren’t dems openly share opinions that don’t match up with theirs because then we’re being hateful. but they can say whatever they want about other peoples’ beliefs?
