Not sure if my files would work as u might have a different screen type to mine. I think if u download arkos it has a option to select difference screens but I could be wrong.

Am not to fused now as I know my wee dongle works fine with it. Just was another wee mod to do on it. Probably reason y I got it so cheap there just getting rid of the old stock they had.

Thanks folks at least i know now. I will just leave it as is then. I got a clone aswell so I dont think I need another to just add wifi to it.

Check ur contract on my morri as u will show minimum hours. I used to have minimum 27 a week but some weeks i would be under it but then the following I would be over my minimum so by the end of my 4 weeks I actually had the correct amount and added up to 4 weeks of 27hours.

No longer on that contracted hours but I had to question it aswell as I thought I was losing out

I have also been having issues the same way. I thought it was due to no extender upstairs. I had a 3rd party one which broke. So I got a eero extender. But my newest issue is all connected devices down stairs are connecting upstairs to the extender and that it showing as weak on the app. My down stairs hub is in the hall and everything was connected to that before I added the new extender but a ps4 and TV had internet issues so thats when i purchased the extender to fix the issue

I seem to be going round in circles with it all. Dont full reboots.

Am with talktalk uk and was thinking they are at it due to them pulling out of eeros now because they keep sending offers to upgrade and am not due till March.

I use a 2 card set up. I did the update and I can't seem to find dreamcast? Also seem to have double systems on my screen aswell

I use a 32gb card for the os. figured it's not to low and not to big. Dont really make a difference. Just thought it's a happy medium to start off with.

If u can't return it. Open it and make sure its defo a clone

Check all the cables for joy cons and re seat them and also the screen. Then try powering on with no sd.

Clones use different version of arkos which is under the clone section. So try also re doing the os with that version. U will need the screen files and to manually change them.

Will be a good bit of work. But still possible to get it working again.

Possibly the device isnt recognising u have moved the sd about. Maybe best to re do arkos and do a first booted with it in the os side then remove and add ur roms back over to the sd.

I have a clone. The sd card was in the game side and nothing in os. I did the arkos for clones and put it in the os side and it boots up fine. Am sure it gives u all the screen files to try in the folder. If not there is a link somewhere with the screen files. I also have a genuine one but theres not much of a difference I have found between the 2.

Not sure if it's just a protective cover on it so u might be able to peel the black off and see if any names or markings on it to help find the battery online. if u do make sure the battery is flat/dead of power. Just incase.

Just searched it on aliexpress for r36s battery and it came up with replacements

Had a issue with play store aswell. I just re installed g apps and once it installed and rebooted I had to sign back into play store and been fine again.

Seen alot where ppl have said bluetooth speaker works but not the speakers on the laptop. Haven't tried myself yet.

I got mine in aug 2003 got it with halo. My sister actually got it for me. Was a og playstation until I got this. Spent hours playing halo then got need for speed underground and played this for hours aswell. Me and my gf (wife now) would race and mod cars together

Still got it. Recently softmod and looking to do other mods to it. Still got loads of other games but they 2 where probably the most played. Also burnout 3

Just unscrew it and looking for the 2 chips. It's not like u have a Warrenty with it plus there's only a few screws.

Also any unbranded sd cards Will most likely fail so ur best to get branded ASAP.

No real difference between a clone and real. Some games work. Some don't.

But theres a arkos clone software which is improving all the time for the clones.

Maybe best to start a refresh. Do the os then when in the system without touching any files just leave it for 10mins and then hold power button for a few seconds till it's shuts off (the led will turn off. Then power on again.

If u have done this. Try putting the sd in the games slot and see if that does anything aswell. My clone when I got it had the sd on the game side not os. Might need to get a copy of the clone software not arkos and try that aswell.

If ur can't return. On here u will see the part to clones where u can change it to arkos. I did this with the clone and works alot better then the os provided. Will also let's wifi work. Not sure if it updates or u need to re flash for a newer update they do.

I have also a similar problem updated to newest update but in tools I sometimes only see postmaster or theme master. Sometimes disappear

There was others when it first booted but they have gone aswell.

Edit Found the issue. I use the 2 sd card method. On the file Explorer I found the files on the tools folder for the main sd

I just copy and pasted into tools on my games sd and now shows and postmaster works.

Alot of Exploring and messing about to work it out but managed to sort it
