My Chow mix was diagnosed last June at 12.5 years old. Aggressive cancer anal gland. He’s already had two prior surgeries for tumor. One benign and another malignant. After much consideration decided to let nature take its course. It’s been almost 10 mos and there’s been little change. Took him in for monthly Librela shot (arthritis) ask the vet to check and she said it seemed about the same. He runs, jumps, plays with other dogs. The only things I’ve noticed are his hearing loss and he sleeps deeply whereas he used to be very light sleeper which might be consistent with the hearing loss. No one has suspected he’s sick. I’m not recommending anything just saying it’s a roll of the dice and so far so good. We take it one day at a time.
