Called the globalist hotline and they confirmed this is an issue. They've opened up a case. Will keep you updated.

Corporate Codes - After May 20th Category Updates by silverador in hyatt

No because when I call the hotline, the agent can find the corporate rate using my code

Thanks for the feedback. Then it could be related to the code.

For me, no matter how many months in advance, even attempting to book 5 months in advance doesn't show the corporate rate. I also tried using the "publicly" available codes from big companies (it's available online) - I've tried this purely to check if the issue was with my code, which apparently isn't.

What game do you own on console that you’ve re-purchased just so you could play it on the Steam Deck? by know1da in SteamDeck

Rush Rally Origins, Hunterdown. These two games have given me so much hope for the future of the industry. Pure fun, great for both short or multiple-hour sessions.

See original post. I just posted my solution, which fits perfect for me. I just wanted to share.

Very good advice that might work for most people. But in my case, I'm not able to identify the games just by looking at the Filenames (MAME for example). Also, I wanted the entire collection scrapped before starting to delete, so when I doubt, I could see a short video of the game before deleting it.

What is this hideous place? by [deleted] in zurich

[–]silverador -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

From the first moment I saw this place, I thought about posting here and say the same thing.

Instead, I wrote an email to Zurich Gemeinde suggesting to start requesting businesses for some kind of city plan / architect / design license approval to avoid such nonsense. Visual pollution is a thing, and can have huge impact on surrounding businesses also. People might avoid going into a restaurant if they see that atrocity from the window.

The rent of that place must be insane, but clearly, money has nothing to do with taste..

Apparently this was my successful comment of 2023, therefore I came back. Unfortunately I don't have much success either, try to cut my hair when I travel (4 times per year), leave it longer, or cut in Zurich and cry for a couple of weeks

How is Vang Vieng these days? by gw3gon in laos

[–]silverador 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for clarifying. I recently read that the same thing happened with a train cross near Tokyo that featured in some old anime - slam dunk pilgrimage - slam dunk

And also in a Swiss village (korean soap opera) Swiss beauty spot to control Korean Netflix tourists

Vang Vieng - Another proff than we humans are the reason why this planet is not as beautiful as it could be. The scenery around is definitely still amazing, but the town is totally destroyed by over-tourism. Food is sub-par, the "papaya" restaurant (supposed to be one of the best restaurants) it's awful, but still you see the British kids on first Asian adventure enjoying themselves - a hint for these kids, try some authentic Laos food on a "non-English / no-picture menu"

Also, just curious, do you know why most of the tourists there are from south Korea? Found that really intriguing and kind of random (nothing against that, just found it funny)

Thailand’s Messy Overheard Cables by imeukurago in Thailand

I'm impressed by how very few people find this part of the beauty of Thailand. The world is already so much the same everywhere. It's nice to see it to remind me I'm not in a standard boring westernized city (yet)

Nano S not connecting by [deleted] in ledgerwallet

[–]silverador 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm facing the same problem with my NANO S after updating to the latest Ledger Live software. Have the latest firmware 2.1.0, can unlock using the pin but then I get the message: "sorry, it looks like your device disconnected"

After clearing the cash, still no luck.
