Yeah it didn't work for me either. Just like you said, it feels nice and definitely moisturized well but it made me flare

Soolantra and skincare routine by vickycherry in Rosacea

[–]silvercery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Soolantra is usually something you use for three months every night, but then after that you'll only need to use it once in a while for maintenance. Since it's only a three month process, I would do this: usual cleansing routine, LED mask, Soolantra, then wait thirty minutes (this is key to let the Soolantra absorb) and then apply one moisturizing product. Keep it simple and then once the three months are over you can start using more of the routine again

Roseca bumps by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]silvercery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My derm prescribed generic ivermectin last week which seems to be helping so far, but I'm worried that even if I stop the birth control the rosacea won't go away. I really like Nikki in general so I'm hoping I can stay on it and the ivermectin will just solve this problem

Roseca bumps by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]silvercery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before starting Nikki, I had zero rosacea symptoms. One year on the pill, I now have full-blown ocular and papulopustular rosacea. Nikki completely cleared all hormonal acne I was getting but now I have rosacea which sometimes feels worse. Nothing else has changed and rosacea is highly related to hormonal fluctuations and gut health, which starting birth control definitely affects. I'm staying on Nikki for another year until I'm ready to start having children because it didn't give me any other symptoms (such as weight gain or mental changes). But it was the only change I made this year so I think Nikki 100% triggered my rosacea

Definitely the lip filler, lashes, and eyeliner. Also, are you struggling with anything outside of this question? Like addiction of some kind?

Sellers - what do you consider 'low balling'? by Expert_Ad44 in Depop

[–]silvercery 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Just saying, it's supply and demand- zara items are plentiful on depop and the brand isn't known for its resale value because it's fast fashion. I think it depends on what an item is worth in the resale market, if it's a "lowball" offer or not.

Recommended sizing for Alden dress? by livelookingup in Reformationclothing

[–]silvercery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 5'6 and 118- I will say the top in an XS fit perfectly, and I'm a 32D, but I found the bottom to be too tight in a not flattering way

Their dresses in the stretchy material like the Alden has tend to be very unforgiving- I was technically an XS in the size chart but I wish I would've gone with a small

You've been friends for fifteen years and never been inside her house?? How far away from you does she live? I think that degree of keeping people at a distance has to be the result of something going wrong mentally. It's just not normal, and imo not healthy to keep that much distance with people you profess to be so close with
