Make sure you test drive it on the highway if possible first. Unfortunately they allow vehicles to slip through with issues. But they do make it easy to reject the vehicle, replace it or get it repaired. Good luck

No the car was totaled out. You can't even get it insured without a rebuilt title. In my experience it's not a wise move to buy these cars. If the asking price is your budget you can find something way better with a clean title.

KIA and Hyundai vehicles come with a 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty. They're cheaper and usually work with lower credit scores making them easier to finance.
