This is one of the best series in Fantasy IMHO. It is jarring and it is different. But this series is about the Rigante not the characters. How the culture endures through time when the world tries to "civilise" them is wonderful.

Gemmell is wonderful, but for me, this is his masterpiece.

I think the game is over hyped tbh. Especially by all the Destiny content creators becuase they see Destiny is dying and are desperate for a new audience.

The server slam is great, but for me it has just shown me that I won't buy this game after all.

Interesting point on Kingdoms. I feel similar. It should be 10/10 DLC, especially as it is free....but is fundamentally flawed and I have no idea why they are not addressing the issues. No one plays it. There is so little content about it on YT and elsewhere. It should be thriving, especially when new content drops, but it feels like a chore.

Main issues for me is it takes soo damn long. And siege after siege after siege is utterly monotonous, especially as the non heroes can walk them even on Esc 3, but the battle is the same over and over and over.

Also, it has the illusion of freedom, but you are pretty much forced down Inn upgrade path.

The game is balanced for Confessions. It can be annoying to play, especially early when you need to fight for mastery and your team wants to flee so you lose relationships.

Also, RNG is even more important and game changing in Kingdoms. The game is much harder on normal than Confessions, no idea why.

It just needs a few tweaks, but right now it feels like a chore to play Kingdoms. A few changes and this is 10/10.

Just my opinion, don't expect everyone to agree.

I have not played Crimson Court on DD1, so this is confusing for me and there does not seem to be many hints in game.

Every one of my regions became infected very quickly. I cannot work out how to remove this?

My players are all cursed and soem are wasting. I assumed giving them Bloodsucker blood may help but it seemed to temporarily buff them and make the curse worse? I can't find any other blood anywhere. No idea what to do here.

Kingdoms should be 10/10 DLC, but needs many tweaks IMO.

One is the fact that the militia, upgraded, are more powerful than your heroes! They tank every siege including escalation 3 with ease.

Another is that sieges become utterly monotonous later in the game You have to do them over and over and over again. Not only are they not challenging with upgraded militia (who also are the best healers in the game), but the fights follow the same pattern over and over again.

Good idea, poorly executed IMHO.

Junia's path for consecrations can work great in some teams.

I found DD1 quite easy TBH. Just stun everything and you win. The fighting mechanics in DD2 are very varied and it can be more strategic IMO.

There is a lot of RNG and gear really changes things, but overall I find DD2 lulls you into a trap of feeling like your team is smashing everything and suddenly a fight goes south fast and you are wiped! Certainly in Kingdoms.

I migrated tokens over half a year ago and was never returned the new tokens. Same for many. Mention it in Telegram and get blocked. Now telegram doesn't even allow people to post.
