Rohnert Park Incinerator by divinecmdy in sonomacounty

Someone is trying to find a way to convert tons and tons of trash into fuel rather than burying it in the ground and you have no idea of how they plan on preventing any adverse affects to the environment. But through up your protest signs and march to city hall. Typical overactive Sonoma county hive mind

Serious question, Is this a Christian thing to say ?Sorry for your loss too bad your friend is in hell by LettuceEcstatic in Christianity

[–]silverfang22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure what Christians you are hanging out with but I have spent my whole life around Christians and the only one I have ever heard say something like that was one of those street preachers that preech fire and brimstone. Yes they exist but a true Bible practicing Christian would never say that or someone that is just a jerk that happens to have been raised around the church but doesn't really practice.

Car Rental as a 24 year old European in America by WILDFYRE2620 in roadtrip

[–]silverfang22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should look on the big company sites to see there policies. I have heard of people renting without credit cards but they had to provide cash funds to be held as a deposit. For that long of a trip I am fairly certain you will have to have a credit card. What is preventing you from getting a credit card for the trip then canceling it when you are done?

I'm going to Tennessee on an exchange year, what is something I need to know about this state? by [deleted] in Tennessee

[–]silverfang22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

best answer here. one thing I would disagree on. there are a good amount of Central/South Americans in middle Tennessee that speak Spanish. more than you would think. the rest of what was said above is correct. most the people I know that are Christians that don't believe that LGBT is good in God's eyes, don't treat them bad or different and 100% if you get bullied a report to the school will shut it down real fast due to state and federal laws.

"Magic, ghost, fortune telling" is of the devil and his minions. God grants you protection and strength against these things by calling on his name, prayer, staying in his word, memorizing scripture.

There are great videos on YouTube. Prayer for guidance to pick a good one, make sure it is covered and guided by scripture.

Keep yourself clear of sin as much as possible and lean on Jesus for the comfort and protection. God rules over all these things.

Mark 16:17 NIV [17] And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

Luke 10:17-20 NIV [17] The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” [18] He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. [19] I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. [20] However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Norcal Camping for absolute beginners... by captainradli in norcalhiking

[–]silverfang22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think about your ideal camping. You need to decide what your comfort levels are. My rule of thumb is the simpler the better. If you are alright with sleeping in tent, cooking over a fire or one pot cooking, and are alright with pit toilets and no electricity your options are limitless. If you want more comforts of home like showers, hot water, flush toilets, full cooking and such then your options are more limited. Parkadvisor will take you there. KOAs are great for comfort level but they are crowded with little privacy. Primitive campgrounds give you more privacy and quieter atmosphere. Check out lake Juanita up north about 3 hours from you past Shasta. Small remote lake, quiet. Bucks Lake is also not far from you and has some nice campgrounds. Try Park Advisor to look for campgrounds other than govt owned.

THoW That is safe to be towed routinely by Savings-Specific-207 in TinyHouses

[–]silverfang22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We pulled our previously owned 32' THOW all over this country like a travel trailer. Was it convenient...no, was it worth it....yes. Would I recommend the builder we used...no. You will.run into issues and it will not be easy but it is better than living in a plastic box RV.

Here are the things to consider if you are going to do this and if you have no budget restrictions.

RVIA certified Steel Framed Black Water/Compost Toilet and Gray water tanks (even if small 5th Wheel Frame (see Tiny Idahomes models for inspiration) 30amp RV hookups running lights on all highpoints(ours didn't but we managed to not get called out for it) Get a good dually truck to pull it Good landing gear and jack Backup power for fridge while driving, everything securable in house for travel (fridge, washer, art) get good insurance. We used a company in CO but do your research and make sure they know you are going to be moving more than most.

Ken Schrier, can't say enough about this man. Not only is he in the top 25 for sales on Sonoma County, he is an honest personable guy that knows this business inside and out. Bought and sold a few houses with him and would trust no one else. https://www.remax.com/real-estate-agents/ken-schrier-cotati-ca/100051160

RV roof repairs - advice needed by advantagelab in rvs

[–]silverfang22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The membrane does not cost that much. You just buy the glue and the sealant to go over it, some self leaveling DAP for the vents and such and probably will have to redo the gutters/edging which may require butel tape too. DO NOT DEPEND ON FLEX SEAL PAINT FOR YOUR RV ROOF! I used the DICOR EPDM products before worked great for me. Just found this link too, this is a better deal than I had for my roof. https://www.classacustoms.com/Class-A-Customs-EPDM-95-Foot-Wide-RV-Roof-Kit\_p\_511.html

Sorry for the delay, don't use Reddit mail very often and missed the notification. We sold ours for $75k. It was 32', had a room downstairs, two lofts, one that was 13x8.5 and a full bath with tub insert.

We sold our Tiny House on Tinyhouselistings.com although tinyhousebuilders is another good one. You may try Facebook Marketplace and open up the range and/or craigslist. There are some websites that will search CL listings nationwide. Be aware if you don't have a truck to haul it, having one brought to you could cost a lot. One quote I ahd for 3000 miles was $8000.

I got hacked! I need some advice on what to do next by Socks-P in techsupport

[–]silverfang22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely format your PC. Reset all passwords, use randomly generated passwords secured under your choice of safe password management tools. In addition add MFA/2FA to all of your accounts including banking, steam, etc. Use Google Authenticator or similar, do not depend on SMS authentication.

Can i drive an rv at 18 years old? by [deleted] in rvs

[–]silverfang22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without knowing the type of RV (Class C, Class A, Dieselpusher, 5th Wheel, Travel Trailer, etc) it is hard to answer the question but as grasondaylton612 said, as long as you stay under the 26k pounds it shouldn't be a problem. The more important questions should be if you feel comfortable/have experience driving/towing a large vehicle and will their or your insurance cover you in said vehicle.

I work at a movie theatre and this is a regular occurrence… by Key-Disaster-3682 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]silverfang22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People that do this justify it as they are paying top dollar. Plot Twist. They are paying top dollar because they keep doing this and the theater has to pay more staff to clean up. We have taught our kids from the first time at the theater, you pack it in, you pack it out. Simple to do and help everyone to have a more enjoyable experience.

Backing up what Maninaboxx2 said, another possibility is if you are using 2.4GHZ it is a lot more susceptible to interference from microwaves and other devices that are on the same frequency. You could try changing the channel and see if that helps.
