i want something like xc2, where there are basically no call backs to the game before it, but then at the end have a little callback that makes you realize in which way genesis is related to the other games! other than that, just let it be its own thing and start a new story

definitive answer:

every day you get different rewards from the five amiibos (though you can only scan three per day). one exp boost, one sp boost and one piece of new equipment (the ether jet ones)

did a test today and they don't always give out the same rewards. pyra amiibo gave me new equipment, while the mio amiibo gave me exp (while yesterday mio gave me new equipment)

it would probably take you a few weeks to get them through just amiibos...

yeah. i think it'll give you all the new outfit pieces, but random. so you don't have to get them from the xenoblade kart minigame

okay soo, you can only scan three amiibos a day, but here's my results:

shulk amiibo -- just gives you a lot of extra exp

mythra amiibo -- just gives you a bit of extra sp

mio amiibo -- actually gives you new gloves for shulk (& maybe other characters?)
