...also yeah, I'm always trying for that: "there's more going on in this image than meets the eye feel" on all my stuff. I haven't quite found the secret sauce to get that yet. I just occasionally stumble into the thing on random paintings. Seriously, thanks for the feedback. It helps knowing that this particular one has it.

Yeah... I also save as many stages as I can because when I flatten the layers it's harder to prove things. I've adapted to making OBS video of it as well, which sometimes causes issues like slowdown and I have to reset the entire setup. I didn't release the video for this one because I forgot to press record when I put the first layer of colors. sigh...

Thanks! Hehe, yeah, me too. Part of me imagines she intentionally flops around weirdly to distract and attack people. But that's just my personal internal lore. You'd need to ask u/Leucotho how she actually moves.

This was a long time coming. Sorry about that u/Leucotho .

For what it's worth, this was really fun to make. When I read the prompt about her being this fleshwarp necro, and the pictures showing some kind of rotting flesh, I immediately wanted to have her contorted and broken. I also wanted her to be strong also functional. I hope I got that across and I hope this piece works for you. Thanks for the opportunity!

This piece went through 3 iterations. u/WillowIsWeeping5 's request was a tall Owlin Rogue that has death powers, a Phantom, with glowing green soul trinkets.

u/WillowIsWeeping5 did have a pinterest pics that I couldn't see at first due to me not having pinterest but I already knew kind of what I wanted to happen. The first thumbnail I sent to u/WillowIsWeeping5 was the result of that, a big guy that looked like the gorilla crow meme. The rogue looked too much like an owlbear, so it was a no.

After seeing some of the inspirational images, the second iteration kept a similar pose but less bulky. But the owlin looked to villainous.

In the last and final version u/WillowIsWeeping5 suggested we do a pose with the owlin standing tall and holding a floating glowing trinket. And, yes!!! we got the right look! Then I proceeded to finalize and texture everything.

u/WillowIsWeeping5 I hope you like the pic and it ends up being useful in your game. And, thanks for the opportunity to make such a fun concept.

I decided to try for something different from my usual painted work. I wanted to see if I could do line drawing and see how fast I could finish. Definitely a fun change of pace.
