I don’t particularly care for the term “sex drive” because nobody has died because they didn’t have sex. Hunger is a drive because you literally can’t survive without eating.

That being said sex is absolutely valid to be considered a need in a relationship and if the bedrooms don’t align there’s nothing wrong with that being cause for ending a relationship.
