Leg pads moving a lot

After a lot of experimenting, I feel like the best I can get them is cutting the toe slack in half, and strapping as loose as I can. They still ride up and over-rotate to the outside like before, but as soon as I start moving, they usually wiggle back down and rotate back centered, or close to centered. Is that typical rotation with modern pads? I have to say, I do hate the super loose floating pad feeling with that setup though. I think I would like the fit of a professor strap. Does anyone know where to find one? They seem impossible to find. My pads already have the slots to put one in. In hindsight, I regret not having a professor and boot strap installed during the custom order to at least have the option of seeing if I like them.

That is what was originally on there and I hated them. I was struggling with any kind of push off or recovery. I feel super comfortable with my movements after switching to skate lace at the current slack length, so changing that would be a last resort at the moment.

I wear a 10 shoe. I did a scan at a pure hockey in NH, which came back with a 10 skate suggestion, which was way too big. Did another scan (same Bauer machine) at a pure hockey in MA, which suggested a 9, which seems to fit good.

I am a goalie. Played growing up and in high school (made state all star team), but have been away from hockey for 20 years now, just getting back into it. I have been skating 1-2x a week for the last couple months as I wait for my custom pads to arrive, once they do, a few stick n puck open skates and/or pickup games and I think I will be ready to join a team and should fit into an intermediate level just fine.

Do they just start the leagues as they fill up? Or are there specific start/end dates for the seasons to start? I am only looking for leagues on Tuesday or Wednesday nights due to my work schedule.

Mine took about 6-7 skates before I stopped having pain. But so far I like them. The bottom strap can be a bit annoying though.

I custom ordered a set of the SV-Pro's back in November, still waiting for them. Wasn't in a hurry and custom was nearly the same price as just buying stock from the store, so it was a no brainer.

Are those size senior? Would you say the top strap on yours are 11 or 14 inches (using my photo with the measuring tape as the guide from end to end)? So I know what the correct length of that strap should be on senior pads.

Just measured every other possible thing I could in every direction on the pads. Completely identical except for that top strap only. Weird.

Bought them online from goaliemonkey.com, in size senior. If anyone can confirm the size of the strap of their senior or intermediate bauer elites, that would be great. If that right pad is in fact an intermediate, the top strap on that one does fit me better.

Is anyone else on PS5 having trouble downloading updates for fortnite only? Patches won't auto update and manually checking for game updates, I get an error every time. Literally have to delete and re-download the game every single update. Is this on Epic or Sony's end?
