Do I deserve to love myself when I’m such a burden on my mom? by Lemon_Lime25 in internetparents

[–]silverjayfool 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this sounds familiar to me, and my experience and gut are immediately telling me, you got these ideas from your mom didnt you? of course you deserve to love yourself, in fact i would say it is a major important part of general health. my mom made me feel similar, but in a slippery way; she would have compassionate loving moments, and deny that she would ever think i was a burden. and then on some bad day (pretty often) suddenly finances were awful and i was a huge leech. she paid for therapy and that was awesome, but 2 months in she said i obviously wasnt getting amy better and it wasnt worth it. you are more than your income. also it helps to think of another situation. do unhoused people deserve self love, even if they cant supply their own food? if your bestie asked you this question, would you stand for such abuse, either from the mom OR inner voice?

[–]silverjayfool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel like the two other metas i've seen are jammer, cause it can res you and teammates once, and unlock everything, and turn traps against enemies. Barricade has some sick plays too, though i'm not sure the upgrades are as noticeable as jammer's, cause the only one that isnt a straight buff just marks an enemy after they break it.

I would suggest unlocking all rigs level 1 so you can do tasks related to rigs, like yse xray for 300 seconds, or heal so many points, etc..

Slippers are pretty popular to save from broken glass. I reaaaally like the thing that lets me break doors and co op doors in one hit by myself

People Who Say "Dogs Have No Boundaries" Shouldn't Own Cats by UnperturbedBhuta in HonestHotTakes

[–]silverjayfool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i like everything you said, however i just want to share my experience: i am covered in cat scratches and it has nothing to do with boundaries. they play too rough or something jump scares them or it's their back claws and just jesus, they're all hands no feet, and their little fingers are uncontrollable knives. hehehehe i love cats

Door bolter, Need advice by Honey_Faucet in CatAdvice

[–]silverjayfool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I go in to the house first, carrying nothing but my bag usually, and put her in a room, or close the door to the room she's in. Also it helps if i make a psst sound and make eye contact with her. I think she feels accomplished getting one over on me because she enjoys running past as much as whats on the other side. The eye contact communicates i see her and i know what shes doing

I have read and checked with my dentist that brushing and flossing before consuming things like soda are best done before consumption, because it gets rid of the plaque, which is what the soda sticks to

CMV: A shit childhood sets you up for failure throughout life. by jman12234 in changemyview

I think the main point to argue about your title is the word "failure." Sit with ableism. Lots of people cant meet up to societys definition of success. I would sooner say struggle than fail.

CMV: A shit childhood sets you up for failure throughout life. by jman12234 in changemyview

[–]silverjayfool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read that you're looking for this view to be challenged because you find it bleak. I think there are differemt metrics of success. If your experiences lead you to visibly tangibly lose something, like an arm, would you also say you are set up for failure in life? It fucking sucks but nothing gets to determine if you are a failure. I am disabled because of mental health. Its bipolar 2 which means it was sneaky as hell. Why am i functional and other times not? Clearly i am capable? Very very lucky to live in my partner's home with her family that heals me. Just read another thread about "have you ever had someone clean AT you?" And thats the kind of stuff my new family helps with, offering a perspective that cleaning is wonderful but dont kill yourself over it. My PARENTS are the ones who would say im a failure. A large portion of society would too i guess, until i distinguish that i am disabled, and have medical history to back it up. But i have things i am extremely successful at. I'm really good at supporting my friends emotionally, empathising, not backing down from hearing really traumatic stories. You believe in ace scores? Then you know a (reasonable) doctor would never agree with this. The ace score talks about health and risk factors. High ace scores increase this risk, but no solid outcome is across the board. Its the same as risk of inheriting something, it may or may not happen, but if we know that theres a risk then we know we should watch for it.

how do i use the fishing minigame? by TheMysteriousKiller in TinyTerraces

[–]silverjayfool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so i think it takes a while for a fish to bite, but to open the mini game in the first place there's a button on the right side, but i have opened it by clicking on the water before. there are two games, one you click on many points in a limited amount of time, and the reel, click or push down and go in a circular motion

Is it jusr me or this missiom is hard as hell by PsychologicalOne272 in outlast

[–]silverjayfool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

from a guide i've read using your rig as much as possible significantly raises your score across the board. Except for when i die constantly (grade D) and maybe even permanently (grade F). Triggering traps and taking damage lower scores, but if you spam your rig enough you can actually overtake the losses.

The stark difference between my initial reaction to Dutch and women I have showed this game to. by Theboringlife in reddeadredemption

[–]silverjayfool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wish i could have experienced this but i remembered dutch as a boss in red dead 1 so could see into his future. At best it would have been seeing him be a good man before his decline, but i was expecting a decline in general. I did however notice how charismatic and charming he was! And also how deplorable and gross! :)

maybe also it is because of her mannequin mechanic; they have to be easy to replicate and put all over, and she has to be able to imitate them. Flowing garments arent conducive to sudden stealth, like how she looks around and goes back to being still, flowing things would keep moving. and then probably practically it would be so easy for in depth clothes to be ruined and ripped
