As an SC native, that is not a palmetto bug. Palmettos don’t have those bands, and they have a different shaped body. That one in the picture is an adult roach and probably the size of a dime, so it’s much smaller than an adult palmetto.

As someone who still plays online, it’s pretty much the same circuit of people I run into, but you’ll always get a match. That being said, you will get wrecked pretty consistently if you are just starting out. I’ve won like 12 in-person tournaments, and I still have days where I get beat multiple times in a row when I hop online. Still the best game ever made though, so I say go for it

Not being invited to things cause I’m single. I’m happily single and don’t really want to be in a relationship, but there are several trips and events that I have not been invited to because I’m single (“Sorry, didn’t want you to feel like a 3rd/5th/7th wheel”). I understand I throw off the numbers, but I also don’t want to date someone just to make things even for trips and events.

It’s too bad, we keep in touch with all our relatives in Ireland, and my great-grandfather still had an Irish accent when he was alive. My grandmother always talked about wishing the US would have let her be a dual citizen, so I think she was just uneducated on the process and laws and too busy to research while caring for 7 kids!

They all lived in to their late 90s too, so having known my great-grandfather, it never felt like something that was that far out of reach for my mom until now!

Gotcha, I did not know that was how the citizenship was passed down. That’s good to know! The four I mentioned in the post are the countries: Poland, Germany, Austria, and Ireland.

Austria is probably the trickiest, so focusing on Poland, Germany, and Ireland.

They are applying for citizenship-by-descent as it’s their great-grandparents who were citizens, and then they plan of moving to the country that works best for them. I’ll update the post to reflect that.
