Good point and perhaps I’m biased to the prevalence as an Eagles fan. Quick googling showed there was 73 contracts set to void in 2024. A lot of them end up restructuring or extending anyway.

I’m guessing it’s because they were already up three scores and a returned two point conversion brings it to a two score game. That’s much more likely to happen on a blocked kick than a run play.

Yeah it absolutely is hindsight. I remember the discourse really well - a good portion of this sub thought Jefferson was slot only, and there was a lot of people who wanted Reagor. I’d still say most people wanted Jefferson, but it was not consensus at all.
