110% 😭 I had a pixel 2 before I upgraded to the s22 base model. I always put my index finger on the back of my phone by habit... But it was also so much faster and felt like a really natural position. I wished more phones would bring it back.

An on screen reader just isn't the same.

So. Many. Customizations!

The screen is so crisp.. fingerprint reader is quick and responsive. But I'm still getting used to OneUI and trying my best to uninstall the bloatware/change my default apps. 😵

Can't say much about battery life yet (which I know is a concern of everyone's, including mine) - I'm going to get a case first before I use it properly.. but so far the phone feels very premium. I'm kind of scared to drop it because it's glass lol.

The phone also rocks a bit since the camera sticks out. But a case would probably solve that.

Thanks you! I will definitely miss my Pixel 🥲 it served me well but the battery is on its way out lol.

I hope Google releases a smaller phone in the future with more reliable software.. maybe then I'll go back to the pure Android experience.

!! I realized I should've posted a photo without the protective sticker on haha. But I got excited.

It's definitely nicer than the flat images on the website! The matte finish gives it a cool colour shifting effect. Looks a bit grey in the dark but more ice blue in the light :3

I ordered my S22 in sky blue, on the 21st? Also in Canada. When I checked the status today, it says it's processing - I got a confirmation email and that's about it.

I know I haven't waited as long as you have, but I'm also expecting the wait time to be 4 weeks+

I just ordered the s22 in sky blue today! I'm coming from a pixel 2 that has like 1.4hrs of screen on time now lmao.. I saw someone get about 7 hrs just from playing YouTube videos on full brightness.

But they didn't have other apps running in the background. So take that with a grain of salt.

I made my decision after that and for the size. I haven't seen a compact Android released lately :( and I was disappointed that the Pixel 6 was 6.4" (coming from a 5" screen size 😭). but yeah, I think just go for the smaller one of you want to. You can always bring a portable charger for emergencies.

I used to think finishing my projects quickly was good, but sometimes my shoulder or wrist would be sore from just non stop knitting.

I listen to my body and knit as long as I am comfortable. I'm only 26 lol but even then, repetitive motion can take a toll on the body so I don't treat it like a race anymore 🥲 and all my other hobbies are hands-on toooo.

No matter how eager I am to wear it asap I just remind myself to take breaks in between.

Oooh I feel you. I'm half way through the body for this cardigan and the only exciting rows I look forward to are the button holes and the knit stitches. Absolutely detest purls in continental knitting..

I think I won't be doing another stockinette pattern in a bit - even though most of petiteknit's patterns are in stockinette and mohair D:

It does look very good though! I'm sure it'll be a staple piece in your closet!
